We disagree on the yo. I think if he was frantic and yelling at her she wouldn’t have kept her focus.
I could see that if it was rope but not duct tape. I think that would be harder to make it look like you were still bound but really weren’t.

You can slip out of duct tape while it still remaining in tact. You wouldn't have to cut or tear it. Depending on her body position, she could have simply kept her hands behind her back, but was noticed was she started dialing, which would necessitate moving her arms noticeably.

Sounds like they were bound with their hands behind their back laying face down on the floor. I say this because I’ve read articles that said he made them lay on the floor, and we know all but RM were shot in the back of the head.

We do not know the half of what Martha told investigators. Obviously she did not see anyone because there would have been a description. She may have heard someone, maybe from a distance and thought it could have been an accomplice. I'm not sure about the Yo, but it sounds far away from the phone. He may have been talking on his phone to an accomplice outside as well. I'm convinced he could not have pulled this off alone. We will probably never know all of what Martha told detectives.

I feel like if Martha told the police any more than she did, it would have been released by now. Or even leaked, as there were other details that were leaked initially. I also believe that if an accomplice was in the store, he would have been talking to the killer, and the killer would have been talking to him -- but none of the released audio indicates such, and there is no reason I can think of as to why the police would release audio of the killer, but not the accomplice. Respectfully, that just does't seem logical to me.

I don't think the killer would risk any time outside of the building -- way too risky. I also don't think the driver would risk any time lingering in the parking lot for a half an hour.

They had a face to put with the voice plus we don’t hear the entire call. Most is blacked out. Police hold things close so it doesn’t surprise me at all.

That was for the victims in both cases. That was reported, with regard to the breaks in the audio. They probably didn't want Nancy Grace to do it for similar reasons.

Also, even if the victims didn't see the face of the accomplice, the police would still release the audio because a member of the public could have still recognized it.

It seems like the bare min. has been released on this case for some unknown reason. Hopefully someday it all makes sense!

This case and a few others (Jennifer Kesse & Delphi) will always drive me crazy because they seem solvable but they remain unsolved.

There has been very little movement in this case over the last ten years. If you read a story from 2010 on this case and then one from 2020, they are almost the same as far as details. The only new development was the updated sketch at the 10 year anniversary. They have been very tight lipped. That's why I don't rule anything out as a possibility. We are at least starting to see some podcasts.

You got the DNA of the guy thanks to the fingernails of the one victim that fought. Amazed that this guy is not in the CODIS system. We need the federal government to fund a program that allows all local and states to upload their test kits.

I'm curious as to why you think this store catered to women in a very nice neighborhood. Tinley Park, is very average. It's not considered a high income area. It's not the north shore, it's not Oak Brook. It's not the mag mile. It's just your average suburb of Chicago.

Also, we are a victim friendly forum. The survivor of this case is considered a victim so she can not be discussed as a possible suspect or poi.

Additionally, anything mentioned as fact must include a link. Do you have a link indicating LE has DNA for the suspect in this case? I don't recall reading or seeing that, but I haven't followed this case as closely as others.

They did reach out to them but I'm not sure if anything ever came out of it.

I think "nice neighborhood" is a relative term.What might be nice to me might be a slum to someone else.

Chicago only solves around avg 30% of homicides which is where the neighborhood would come into play if I'm sleuthing this case. In predominantly minority neighborhoods the resolution rate is less. Link

Tinley Park isn't part of the city of Chicago, it's a suburb. You are correct, nice is a relative term. As far as the burbs of Chicago go, it's average in the sense of the metro Chicago area, imo.
