Lauren Pree. 28, may be in danger. She was last seen leaving her home on East St. Louis street in West Frankfort on September 20, 2018. Investigators believe she may be in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Pree is described as 5’05” tall, 125 pounds, with multiple tattoos on her body, including her face.

She uses the moniker paintedlady_89 in some social media. Note: there is a "paintedlady_89" also on social media also with long dark hair and very similar tattoos. It is NOT this missing person but a woman of the same age that lives in the UK (she added her location and legal name to one account and with a better picture you could see a resemblance but definitely NOT the same woman).

I have to add, I'm starting to notice lots of missing people in this area to be such a rural part of the state.

I live in Illinois - unfortunately, the rural areas have drug abuse and the resultant crime, that based on the percentage of the population makes Chicago look tame. My inlaws live not far from here and had a home invasion by a guy high on meth. Fortunately, my father in law had a gun and scared the guy off so he wasn't hurt.

I hope she is found and is safe.

I'm guessing a sighting that someone who knows her and spoke to her, or saw her, thought they saw her?

Phone ping could be her, could be just her phone.

I think they need to scour through the phone records and texts I hope the police are doing that. The missing persons report is so vague. Doesn't even specify any distinct tattoos this woman has and there's one on her face. It would be nice if they would list what some of her unique visible tats are.

That's a few hours upstate but as tight lipped as everyone has been about this case I would say it's definitely a possibility.
