Not good news. It appears the info from abc7 news was just updated, this is what I feared for Ms. Brown:

"They said Wednesday that her car had been found, but she remains missing.

Family said the car was found near South Lake Park Avenue and East 35th Street.

There is video footage of her walking over a pedestrian bridge that leads to the lakefront, her family said.

She is alone in the footage, which is from 3 a.m. Saturday.

Family said they will be starting their own search party in the area Friday morning."
I hope their search brings answers for them. BBM Sad update, imo.

Medication, if newly prescribed or recently changed, can sometimes affect behaviors in ways that may be unexpected.

I'm glad to see this mentioned because it's always my first thought in a situation like this.

Do I correctly remember the husband saying that she went to sleep before him that evening?

Seems LE must be protecting her privacy by not releasing more information. That's all I can figure. Now that there's video, according to her family, of here leaving her car that could explain their silence, imo. She's mia by choice and there's nothing wrong or illegal about that. Really hopeful that Linda will reach out to her family and let them know where she is so she can get help.
Maybe they know and that’s why they’re quiet?

He did. He said he went to bed later than her but that she was in bed when he went to bed.

Oh god now I am reminded of the Hungarian twins in supposed suicide pact and that was last January in Scotland. January a very tricky month for many imo
Praying for a better outcome here

If there is, in fact, video of JB walking away from her car, why hasn't LE released it?

Because in all likelihood she is walking toward self-harm.

I am glad they finally acknowledged that the police were holding back details, because things weren't adding up. They weren't explaining her last "sighting" at all, etc. Hopefully, this means they have more information than we think.
Makes me go, "Hmmm..."
Hoping for good news...

Still no updates. 😢

Linda, what happened to you ??

I hope she's found soon.

I haven't read the thread and this may not be relevant - but, speaking as a fellow special education teacher (like Linda is), Januaries tend to be particularly stressful, unpleasant months for us, for a multitude of reasons. I myself am having a heck of a time right now. This, coupled with whatever might have been going on for her personally outside of work, probably wouldn't help matters.

Wherever she is I hope she is safe and able to return home peacefully.

Could be; although several cases quickly come to mind where LE released such videos that were later deemed suicides. Most recently Camila Olmos. Also Debbie Collier, Ashley Turcotte, and the Hustzi twins. And Riley Strain, though his death was ruled accidental.

One of the articles said she had been off for a while due to mental health issues, and was due to return to work soon. She may have been struggling with returning, knowing all the stress it was going to bring.

I wonder if police have more solid info that points to self harm, that's why they are searching in specific areas and not seeking too much help from the public.

JMO
It certainly has crossed my mind. SMH.
I'm also hopeful that she just had to get away by herself for some reason.
Hopeful thoughts for those who know and love her.

Everything here seems to me to point to self harm, unfortunately. I’d love to be wrong but health stressors plus the stress of returning to a high stress job the next day after a leave, plus the time of year, plus where they found her car plus law enforcement’s silence adds up to that to me as the most likely scenario. jmo etc.

I have been quietly reading.

She is walking alone, at 3 am.

I really don't see this ending positive.
Its possible she wasn't ready to go back to work and maybe couldn't take more time off. I see self harm all over this case. So sad.

Very sad update. Keeping her family in my foremost thoughts.
