Marcellus Gibson arrived on a flight that landed at O’hare just before 10 p.m. Sunday but never met up with the person picking him up.

How far could he have gotten!? There are cameras all over the airport. I hope they're able to use those cameras to track his activity from the moment he exited the plane.

Did he make it to baggage claim? To the passenger pick-up area? Is he still in the airport somewhere, incapacitated from a medical event? Did he leave with someone else entirely?

I flew out of O'Hare in the last few weeks after a death in the family out West. There was a LOT of construction outside the terminals going on and the passenger pickup outside baggage claim was closed - everyone had to get picked up where people were getting dropped off upstairs and it was a zoo. There's a chance, given how short of a time he's been missing, he just didn't see his ride, got fed up with the mess and took a taxi home and just never checked in with anyone. Hoping that's all it was.

There are 700 cameras installed at the airport as part of TSA security. Almost all of them monitor check in and security lines There are limited cameras that photograph people deplaning and leaving the terminal.

I wish it was that easy, but as I said earlier, and maybe wasn't clear on, the majority of the cameras set up at each O'Hare terminalwere for the check in areas. (not someplace you would be after deplaning an aircraft). They recently did the same set up for the international terminal and as the article says it's for check-in areas. I think the person that was supposed to pick him up would probably have been the one to report him missing as well. He must have made prior arrangements made with this person as well. They didn't disclose who this person was, did they?

I don't think he's still in the airport to be honest. When he was reported missing, police must have notified the people working around there. Almost everyone at this point would know his name, at least I think so.
However big the airport actually is, there's no way nobody would've noticed him if he was still in there.

O'Hare is serviced by the Blue Line (part of the mass CTA system) so if he opted for light rail, either thinking his ride didn't show up or because he changed plans, it opens up numerous locations where he could have traveled by train including downtown.

IMO there is no way that he went through two airports and didn't get his picture taken multiple times even though someone told me I'm wrong. If he was on the L, or on a CTA bus, he definitely had it taken again. What is going on here?

Maybe he went outside the airport, was looking for the person supposed to pick him up, and maybe someone kidnapped him from there?
Investigators would've found nothing in the cameras if that were the case.

Even if what I said earlier is wrong, I still think security cameras would've captured him walking by.
I have a lot of questions..where was the flight coming from? Which terminal? Who was supposed to meet him?

No, I don't think they disclosed who the person was. And no, I don't assume that the person picking him up was the one who reported him, I would like to know that, though, as I think it's pertinent. And no, I don't assume he must have made the arrangements, it's possible a third party did, but I would like to know that too!
