Found Safe IL - Mubengwa, 5, only speaks Swahili, Aurora, 10 Nov 2019

Police in suburban Aurora have launched a search for a 5-year-old boy who was last seen Sunday evening, according to a post on the Aurora Police Department's Facebook page.

The boy named Mubengwa was last seen at approximately 5 p.m. in the 400 block of Spruce Street, according to police. The 5-year-old only speaks Swahili.

Mubengwa was wearing a red t-shirt, blue jeans and might not have been wearing shoes or a jacket.

How worrisome! It’s only 36 degrees there right now.

At least with teens I can temporarily placate myself with the fact they are probably at a friend’s house or if not, they at least have the wherewithal to get inside out of the cold. I can’t imagine ANY parent letting a 5 year old over to play without contacting his/her parents...especially because it’s now already getting late. On top of that, a 5 year old boy who speaks not a lick of English.

I wonder how long he has been in this country?
