Identified! IL - Park Ridge, UID male near RR tracks, Feb '12 - Henry Nowak (Mallek)

Posted the other one last week. This man was found unresponsive near train tracks. Other man still UID.

I grew up here, before these two have never heard of any UIDs being founds. Weird coincidence?

"For the second time in seven days Park Ridge Police are conducting a death investigation following the discovery of an unidentified body in the city."

Police have identified the man as Henry W. Nowak, 39, of Chicago.

Nowak was known as Chip Mallek by family and friends, and had legally changed his name to Henry Walter Mallek as a child, reported his brother, Mark Mallek. He grew up in Park Ridge.

I read today that he was strangled and it is now a murder investigation.

Chip Mallek&#8217;s body was discovered on the morning of Feb. 9, 2012 in a commuter parking area along Summit Avenue, east of Washington Avenue. The 39-year-old had been strangled and his hands were bound with plastic ties.

Three days later, Park Ridge police arrested the man they say was responsible. Yuron Robinson, now 36, of Chicago, was charged with first-degree murder and has been held in Cook County Jail ever since, his bond set at $5 million...

Authorities say Chip Mallek was killed after an argument over drug money that Robinson reportedly owed him.
