Found Deceased IL - Portia Adams, 43, East St Louis, 5 Dec 2016

Portia Adams, 43, left her home in the John De Shields housing complex in East St. Louis about 3:30 a.m. Monday. Her car was later found abandoned in Washington Park.

Adams is black, 5-foot-2, weighs about 170 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing blue jeans, a brown coat and white high top Air Force One tennis shoes. She has a tattoo of the name "STEVEN" on her neck.

Body identified

An autopsy performed by the coroner positively identified the remains as Portia Adams. They said she died of a gunshot wound.
