Chicago police said a 33-year-old man is charged with the stabbing death of an HVAC contractor in broad daylight while he was working.

Police sources tell ABC7 Eyewitness News that during the investigation into the stabbing, they found a teenager's body in the freezer in the suspect's home. The investigation into that body is ongoing.

One victim (female) was born in Chicago to immigrant parents. Even still, your over all point is valid.

That aside, it is very likely that both victims were also Moslem. As to whether the suspect would have known that regarding both victims is probably "up in the air".

Even with out distinctive religious clothing, the female victim (Islamic associated name) was of an ethnicity associated with Islam, though there are plenty of exceptions. But... there are also plenty of people who routinely make the presumption that all Arabs are Moslem.

The male victim, however, was Bosnian. Bosnians are Slavic and most look, dress, and act like standard secular eastern Europeans- right down to casual drinking. Thus, he was probably not wearing distinctive clothing and is not from an ethnic group associated with Islam.
