The baby's paternal aunt. Who according to Anita, was supposed to be watching little Semaj when she disappeared.

She just said she may be mistaken and it is a different Aunt who lives out of state that had a child die

How sad :( Rest in peace, Semaj. I don't know how people can harm small children. They are truly pure, just bright and curious.

Anita is saying family was trying to keep the mother quiet yesterday - and that the mother didn't seem to be "all there" (unsure if that was drugs, mentally challenged, etc.)

According to Anita, the mother has been taken into police custody (not mention of arrest) and has been advised to not give any statements.

OMG. I don't even know what to say.

Crap, someone needed me for work (the nerve!)
Who is Anita speaking with right now?

She didn't name him - but just said he's one of her sources, and a legal professional. He just said mom is in custody, prime suspect, being interrogated.

Keep her quiet as in ' don't talk to anyone' or keep her quiet as in keep her calm and not freaking out under duress?

All my life, whenever I would watch the news, I always wondered how reporters kept it together and were able to present stories with no bias, no personal commentary. I would NEVER be able to do that.
Watching this, she is able to peel away that restriction, and it is so refreshing to watch. She can just let it be known how pissed and disgusted she is.

Anita has a friend on that just announced the local funeral home is offering their services free of charge.

Anita is now on the phone with a family member of Semaj. Family member is telling Anita they should have been looking right inside the house.

Wow, she is now talking to a family member (unnamed, and not being recorded) who told Anita yesterday that they need to be looking inside Semajs own home.
