JOHNSTON CITY, IL — Police are asking for your help locating a missing southern Illinois man.

Police in Johnston City, Illinois, say 42-year-old Shawn P. Murphy was last seen Dec. 12 at the Arrowhead Campground. Murphy is originally from Murphysboro, Illinois.

Officers ask you to call the Johnston City Police Department at 618-983-5888 if you see Murphy or have information about where he is.

Murphy’s body was found Saturday morning at Arrowhead Lake Campground.
