IL IL - Shelby Lockett & Lanya Chalmers, both 15, East St Louis, 20 Dec 2016

Shelby Lockett, of Belleville, and Lanya Chalmers, of East St. Louis, were last seen leaving Lockett’s father’s home through their front bedroom window in East St. Louis between 11:30 p.m. and midnight.

Lockett’s father filed a missing person’s report at 6 p.m. Dec. 21.

Lockett is described as a light-skinned black female, 5-foot-9-inches tall and 235 pounds. She was last seen wearing a long-sleeved white blouse, pink sweater and blue jeans. She has long, dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Chalmers is described as a light-brown-skinned black female, 5-foot-9-inches tall and 204 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and has the word “pink” tattooed on her left thigh.

Lockett’s mother said an unnamed person reached out to her on Facebook to say her daughter had asked if she could shower at her residence.

Well that makes sense now. It was difficult to determine which state this came out of and Belleville, MO is quite a distance from East St. Louis, MO but I didn't realize that it could be IL.

I wish all news outlets would put their address on the bottom of their pages so I know what State some of these stories come out of.

East St. Louis is a lil bit MO and lil bit IL and East St. Louis is not a very safe place at all, lots of strip clubs, homicides, robbery, you name it.

I dont think it's customary to call the police if you see two teens sneaking out, I know i wouldn't. Maybe another unmentioned person was with them at that time.

According to Shelby's brothers FB she was found January 5th 2017
Couldn't really find much on Lanya at all.
