IL IL - The Unidentified Victims of John Wayne Gacy

Note, Mrs. Marino refuses to give the authorities a sample of her DNA to compare to a credible lab. A redacted copy of a test sent by her attorney isn't enough. If she has lost confidence in Cook County why doesn't she request the DNA comparison be done by DuPage Co., ISP or the FBI? Until there is credible evidence the remains attorney really not her sons, we have to consider them id'd.

I think it's a complicated an heartbreaking situation, but if I was Mrs. Marino I would swallow my pride and go along, giving my DNA. What is there to loose.

When I first saw these new recons I thought they were done through Parabon NanoLabs: Engineering DNA for Next-Generation Therapeutics and Forensics. I was honestly disappointed when I realized it was as just NCMEC recons. Respectfully, I think the NCMEC recons were a waste of resources for this particular case. If Dart really wants this case solved he needs to utilize the services of Cece Moore and do the forensic genealogy to find the families of these young men.

‘This is just the beginning’: How a small forensics company is cracking cold cases

I think it's a wonderful technic (as long as your DNA samples are given willingly to the genealogy sites and you can take them down if you want to) The recons of the Parabon Nano Labs are amazing. What bothers me is they use these technic mostly for making sketches of perpetrators an much less for identifying human remains. In identifying John and Jane Does, indeed money is better spent on this technic and on the DNA Doe Project IMO. BTW how does this legally work, does a court take this findings as evidence? In every state? Just curious.

I think LE can reach out to parabon. In criminal cases it can lead to an Avenue to research but additional DNA evidence is needed. Cook County could also reach out to CeCe Moore since she will work with cases that involve minors. I hope eventually DNA Doe Project would consider cases such as this one where it is known a family member is not the perpetrator of the abuse.

Missing Person Case
This mp should stand out as a 6'3'' teenager wanting to join a convent!
"James went missing when he was 16 years old. He lived in Overland, Missouri when he disappeared. James had told family members before he went missing that he wanted to move to Texas or California to join a convent."

@namstache It looks like side profiles have been added to the images for both 10998 and 10999.

Both their noses are distinctive. Now I'm beginning to wonder if they were part or full Native American? Native Americans had (1970s) and still have a presence on Chicago's north side near Uptown, Edgewater and Rogers Park. There are hundreds of tribes representing in Chicago, but it's still a pretty tight community. I wonder if LE ever looked into the Native American angle?

Someone like Gary Locklear, 15, Native American missing from South Carolina would not be a stretch for a suggestion....Missing Person Case

Saw this suggestion for a match on Twitter and decided to share it here:

Brian Page (MP6482) missing from Salem, Oregon since January 12, 1975. Though it is quite a ways away from Illinois, I do see a resemblance between him and "Body 13", especially the nose and eyebrows/brow ridge. The height and hair color are a little off, but not too far off.

Photos for comparisons sake.

On HLN right now, CNN Special Report, E27: “The Curious Case of the Killer Clown”...talking about Steven Soden, how sad.

If dentals are available the agency handling Brians case could quickly determine whether Brian is a possibility.

While my first inkling was Brian was in an accident leaving the party, it doesn't say if the missing VW bug was his, or a friends, and if he left with a friend, is the friend still missing?

I saw someone suggesting Jeffrey Lee Stinnett as a match for Body 13 (he's been suggested earlier in this thread, too). Time, height, location seems plausible. Both being described having wavy, brown hair, but their likeness was the thing that grabbed my attention.
(All apologies if Stinnett has been ruled out (pretty sure he has since they both have DNA in), but I couldn't find a recent list of Body 13's ruleouts, and NamUs will not let me register)

According to Brian's Doe Network page, the only identifier available is DNA.
