Missing Man From Downs Found Dead In Pond

Oh, this is such a tragedy...news no one wanted to hear, but I’m glad family has answers now. Prayers for all involved.

The body of Tyler Graf, 31, was located in the pond in the 8000 block of Elm St. around 4:48 p.m.
Graf was pronounced dead at 5 p.m.
An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday.

When I saw "young men walking through woods at 5 a.m." I thought they'd been enjoying themselves and may have been under the influence. I didn't wish to dampen the family's hope but I'm not at all surprised at the outcome. May his memories help them in the coming days ahead.

Preliminary autopsy reveals missing Downs man die from drowning


Preliminary autopsy findings prove the missing man from Downs likely died from drowning.

The McLean County Coroner’s Office announced Sunday there was no evidence of an altercation or assault, but a toxicology report is still pending.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday

So sad! I was hoping he was going to be found alive, but I'm glad he was found so that he can return to his family. Prayers for his family to get through this horrible time. RIP Tyler.
