Police are asking for the public's help finding a 13-year-old boy who went missing six days ago on the city's Southwest Side.
Valdemar Flores was last seen Oct. 28 in the 2400 block of South California Avenue. He was wearing a black zippered Northface hooded fleece jacket, dark-blue pants and gray gym shoes with black laces, police said.
Valdermar is known to frequent the areas around 23rd Place and Washtenaw Avenue.
He is described as Hispanic with a medium complexion, black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighs about 145 pounds, police said.
