Someone's Child: Valina McGhee - A Child Forgotten

It seems as Valinas last name has been spelled in different ways.
Searching the internet (and very little info in this case - so sad) I’ve seen it spelled Mcghee and Mcgee besides Magee.
Also it seems, acording to the link above, that there’s been some mistakes when she first turned up missing. She never made it to any database for missing persons/children.

Valina Magee was ruled out as Jane Doe found in 2002 in Petersburg, Virginia (case nr 765UFVA on doenetworg.org).
However I cannot conferm that, on NamUs, Doenetwork or any other site.

There’s been 11 unidentified person exclusions according til Nam Us.
There’s so little details and info on this case.
In the link in post # 4, the blogger mention an article in The Chicago Tribune by a reporter Kim Barker. Unfortunately I cannot enter that website because it’s unavailable to european countries.
Perhaps someone cold contact The Tribune, the reporter (if by luck she’s still there?) for info? Maybe there’s more in their archives?

Her last name is spelled Mcghee in that article. I actually wonder which is the right way to spell the last name.
Unfortunately it doesn’t provide anymore information. It mention that she lived with her mother in their southside home.
Can we assume theren’t any other familymembers? I searched web for possible relatives in the Chicago area, using the three kind of spelling of her last name as I’ve seen so far. There are a couple of possibilities.
I just can’t fathom that noone close is looking for her
