i’ve seen conflicting reports. Did she go missing on her way to school? Or on her way home from school?

If she lived alone with her mother, I would love to know what her teachers and/or friends in school had to say. What was her home life like? When was the last time someone except for her mother saw her?

I don’t wanna make any assumptions, but usually the last person to be seen with the victim, especially with a child. Often times is the perpetrator. Children have very little resources to go off on their own.

Her last name is spelled Mcghee in that article. I actually wonder which is the right way to spell the last name.

Did they even do any preliminary reporting?

Chicago in my experience is known for their lack of effort/care/progress when it comes to missing black children. I helped assist with the case of Monte Pointez Jabbar and it was really eye opening.

Not in a good way.

I don’t like to say it. But this stuff really comes across systemic racism sometimes…

Such a heartbreaking case. Her scoliosis would have been very significant, maybe painful. Then the surgery to put a rod in your spine to correct it is said to be very painful. And then she was kidnapped on her way to school (my speculation only) and never made it onto the news, etc. Makes me want to scream.
