Police in Alton, Illinois are asking for the public's help in finding missing woman.

Venita E. Sciacca, 58, was last seen at around 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, in the 3500 block of McArthur Blvd in Alton.

Sciacca is a black female, approximately five feet, four inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with black hair in braids, and brown eyes. Sciacca was last seen wearing a beige hooded jacket.

RUMOR: O/T kind of. If you google her name, a gofundme acct is listed trying to raise $ to get her daughter back. Apparently, on 2/10/17 her ex took their 11yr old daughter to Acireale, Italy. All agencies are involved. More info at the page. I hope this is allowed.

Alton Police investigated a report of a missing 58-year-old Alton woman, Venita E. Sciacca, but thankfully she was found safe and healthy, Alton Police reported early Sunday morning.
