Grandparents. They raise their kids, then they raise their kids kids. Their heartache is always in the background. I wonder what this grandfather is thinking. Whether he has a specific person in mind when he says he suspects foul play. What restraint it would take to remain silent and not allow yourself to take matters into your own hands. I am sure they do it out of love for their children and grand children. Brave souls.

The facebook page has a news article that states the Uncle is now in custody, posted a minute ago.

I can't open it for some reason, but the headline is there and the booking information is visible.

Looking at this map:

https://mapsengine.google.com/map/u/0/viewer?mid=zSOXr2WUMk3o.keHGwumstTfY

and comparing it to this Watson boundary map:

http://www.city-data.com/city/Watson-Illinois.html

while taking into consideration the words of the sheriffs department that Willow was found south of the town of Watson, and looking at the picture of LE on the ground at where she was found, the pic of autos on a what seems to be dirt back/side road:

http://www.kmov.com

Does anyone know the name of the sort of metal-scrap-yard looking business at the end of the road where Eastwood Str curves & turns into Oak Dr ? Based on the border map, some of the woods & unpaved roads would "technically" be south of the city of Watson. I can't find any info on the scrap yard.

I couldn't open it either. Looking for another MSM link.
I just caught up on this thread and hoped it wasn't going to turn out like this.
Another sweet child taken from this earth too early.

OK trying to catch up so is this a drowning? Accidental death no perp?

well, I don't know of any roads or even trails that would lead her to the River if you're thinking she did drown there -- much of this area right now is covered with corn that's almost ready to harvest & soybeans . . .

I'm afraid poor Willow's brother witnessed something horrible and was afraid to tell. I tend to believe the mother's version of events. It fits with what I know so far.

I have to go to bed. :( other side of the world and all that. But I won't sleep well, thinking about Willow and I'm sure I will log on during the night for the press conference.

Hugs to you all and thank you for keeping the information coming for us non locals. It's appreciated.

If (and this is a huge if given the uncle's arrest) she wandered off on her own, the railroad tracks behind her house would have led her to the river. If she just started walking south along them this looks like it would be the first body of water she encountered.

I was just looking at that and sure enough the rr tracks lead to the river.

knowing that area as I do, it could just be someone's back yard (LOL)

Let me see what my hometown friends are saying
