24 hours have passed, 18 square miles searched all day and night...Not looking good. :(

Considering this small town is not a high traffic area, I would lean towards a local perp if foul play is suspected. As I've mentioned before, teenage boy, or young adult.

Also, there have been other cases here lately where other children have been involved (injuries).

Re: the changing of the clothes, haven't we seen cases where someone enters the home and says "get dressed"...

If LE has cleared the parents, then this is even more troubling imo, and points toward an abduction. When LE clears the parents, they must really believe this is the case (unless it is a poker tactic, which is less common, imo).

If she was lost, I think she would have been found by now considering the magnititude and resources involved in the search.

I hope all residents are checking their own properties.

If EH's comments are true, then this is not good news as to Willow's fate (unless these 2 persons were just brought in for standard questioning).

I'm getting a Jessica Ridgeway vibe on this.

I don't know what to say except my heart hurts.

I have a "feeling" she is closeby.

Everything being said, there is no way to tell what really happened here. Only time will tell. It could be something that we've already mentioned here, or it could be something none of us would have ever thought of.

Hoping for a miracle.

In one hour:

Authorities plan another press briefing around 4 p.m. today.

Do we know who owns the home? I have seen an older gentleman with the DeRyke last name tied to that address. I think his birthdate was 1961. Might be the mother's father. In the spirit of understanding who might have also been in the house when Willow went missing.

We can't sleuth family members. But my observation is that Willow's street is more like private property, and there may be multiple homes on the same property.

I don't think she's anywhere near Watson anymore :( I hope she is though.

Consequently, I don't know how accurate the internet is (you never can tell) but ToonZone shows that the Disney Channel apparently aired The Princess and the Frog Sunday morning, September 8th, 2013. But, the beginning of it started at 10:45am, 2 hours after the kids were watching it and 4 minutes before the missing call came into authorities according to the time given by Sheriff Monnet. The Princess and the Frog is a 98 minute movie...or 1hr, 38 minutes. My guess is that it is unrelated and the kiddos were watching a DVD...or the ToonZone schedule is wrong...or...something.

What time zone did you see that info in? Perhaps it was 8:45am in the Central Time Zone that it came on? I'm more curious about when it ended.

MOO

This is also kind of reminds me of Dylan's case....the whole "walking away" aspect...

I'm sure LE is also exploring the possibility of her being somehow lured online.

Yes, what activities does Willow do (dance, cheerleading, etc.).

Where all has Willow been in the past couple of weeks.

I didn't see anyone who jumped out at me on the arrest records

The walking away, the somewhat changing timeline, the police asking for videos from the area, the ambiguity about clothes last seen wearing. It is hard not to hear the echoes. Let's hope they find Willow in much less time than it took to find Dylan.

Sorry, hard to post links w phone, but the article that named willows moms bf is not the same person that appears to be her bf on fb. May just be misleading to me on fb.

I wonder if any any calls were made yesterday morning, either inbound, or outbound. LE, of course, will be scrutinizing this.

What is the current custody situation? Any motions in the works?

Same. But if it's truly FBI (per rumor) then it wouldn't appear on the county page, it would be on PACER which doesn't update until later. If the info would jeopardize the case they seal it and it will be inaccessible. I'll check it after midnight and see if anything was uploaded.

On the Missing Willow Long FB they say there's no arrest?

I was looking through the public post search and someone has put up a lot of search pictures.. so many people out there looking, it's incredible.

I have not seen anything reported about parental relationships so we need to just wait until more shakes out from LE/media if this would even be pertinent. Just jumping off your post and not aimed at you: as a general reminder: we do not sleuth family members of missing persons.

They're having another PC at 4 PM. If there was an arrest, it will probably be announced then.

I see on google maps that there are a few grain silos located just beyond the railroad tracks near the house, just off the bend of where Walnut St. turns into West St. ~ Circle Drive seems like the name given to the driveway to the house & it runs off of Walnut St. This is within walking distance for someone capable, as well as a 7 year old. I pray that auth & searchers look inside these, if the silos are still there. I can also see another set of silos in the other direction, right at the cornfields. I can't seem to find any clear information on the dog search. ? I only read in one article that dog/dogs picked up a scent near a corn field...but haven't read any other article that talks about the dog/dogs picking up a scent...concerned. Is there any clear info on whether Willow is autistic, or was that misinformation? Did she go to school Friday?

it would be good to know if anyone else was home. how close are homes in this area? are they miles apart or close together? are there sidewalks? do these houses typically have basements? barns/sheds?
