I unfriended the FB site for Willow that I was on last night because I could feel it in my gut she did not walk away. I would have loved to have been wrong.

What is giving me some sense of peace now is that LE had Willow last night. So when questioning the Mom and the Uncle, they knew what to ask, and those answers are locked in.

I'm sure the Uncle would like Grandma and Grandpa to stay by his side so he is going to say anything he can to minimize what he has done.

As for Mom, I don't know, kind of convenient that she was sleeping, and now she wasn't even home, so why the backstory of breakfast and watching a video?

OH NO.....just got on here cos of time difference and she is gone.....RIP Willow....poor little thing.

Well I don't think this was an accident.

I think a lot of us saw the aunts posts on the missing willow facebook page yesterday, when she said that two people had been arrested....this was about 24 hours ago and once again when people are still out there searching. Just goes to show what the police know and what the general public are not privy to. I have seen that happen so many times on here now.

So anyhow the aunt was right, mum and uncle had been arrested! The aunt (who is dads sister) was not happy about the whole situation, so I really think there is more here.

MY OPINION ONLY: but I think mum didn't wake up at all, it was sunday and she was having a sleep in. I cant say anything bad about that as I have done it as well. I don't know when willow was killed but I am thinking the night prior.......so either mum had a big night and slept in or maybe had gone out, or maybe just went to bed and left the kids with the uncle.

I don't think it was an accident, but I don't think it was intentional. I think it is another case of what we have seen so often on here with youth.......there was one recently: the little boy found hidden in the back yard and his half/step brother had hit him in the head with a rock.........I think these moody, broody, mad at the world kids get stuck looking after younger ones for all sorts of reasons these days, and kids being kids are not easy to look after at the best of times, so when they have done something wrong or are annoying them, they snap and push them or hit them or pick up an object and then the tragedy happens....

Those interested may want to look at this facebook group:

Specifically, at approximately 4pm, central time, a post made by the "Willow Marie Long Memorial" page.

<modsnip>

That being said, I am going to bed. Thank you everyone for being so welcoming, and for all of the support I've seen for Willow and her family.

Interesting

Okay, so......mom is either right or wrong. She either lied or told the truth. Willow was either alive or dead Sunday morning.

GPA is also either right or wrong. He either lied or told the truth (as he knows it). However, I am inclined to believe that JD was the "baby of the family" since he still lived at home.

IF Willow was "impaled" anywhere on her body by sticks in the yard, there would be blood. Dogs did not pick up the scent. (Correct?)

I have to think that JD had to have done this under the cover of night. It's a pretty rural area, but as rural areas go, you're liable to see somebody (or somebody see you) just about anywhere in broad daylight.

Maybe mom put Willow in the purple shirt for bed before she went out Saturday night, so to her, that was the last thing she was seen in.

Which makes us have to ask why that purple shirt was in the house.

None of this makes any sense whatsoever!

So what if Mom goes out Saturday night, comes home late, goes to bed. Wakes up sick and heads out to get cereal and Poptarts and Uncle says that Willow is still sleeping, he'll take care of it, Mom should go back to bed.

Great point. I was wondering that earlier to. When I think about co-parenting or what not, often one parent or person does a task..i.e. feeds the kids and reports it to the other. She may have been communicating information told to her.

And, since Gpa wasn't in town, he's going by what son told him. We'll know when we know. I can tell you with the Alanna Gallagher case, we STILL don't know COD so we'll have to see. If he pleads, we may not know.

Wouldn't even take the noise to grow concern. There would be a scene on that stack of sticks, I am pretty sure of that. No one noticed a scene in/on/near the stack of sticks in the front of the house?

Just really bizarre, but what do I know? I heard a case where LE didn't search a garage well enough because it was dirty, and a poor child was there, in a box, the entire time.

I didn't notice a CSI team and mobile unit around the house in those videos either. But perhaps I just missed it. You'd think that the news reporters standing in front of the house would be taking video of extensive searches in and around a pile of sticks on the outside of the house, especially after what the grandfather had just told them.

Here's the rule:

Soliciting Financial Assistance:

Soliciting financial assistance in the forums, chat or via PM is strictly prohibited. This means both overt ("Send me money") and subtle ("Poor me, I could really use some money") forms. As much as we would like to assist in helping those who are in grave need of it, there is no way to easily and effectively determine the accuracy of someone’s financial situation. Countless people have been scammed on the Internet and message boards, perpetrated by people who come into a community with nefarious motives and preying upon others who are kind and want to help people in need.

Rules Etiquette & Information - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

Hi CatFancier-

Just to clarify, I was thinking of the Jodi Arias case where an exception was made to the anti-donation solicitation policy. I don't remember you being involved in that and I don't know the circumstances behind the scenes that caused it to be approved. But that's what I had in mind when I suggested that this poster PM a mod and see if permission was possible or appropriate in this case.

The Missing page on facebook is now closed. Can someone paraphrase?

******Graphic********

It would not be noisy through the neck as blood would pour into the throat and disable the "voice box" from working. It would be like talking while holding fluid in your esophagus/mouth. There are many ways this accident would be "soundless". I posted a while back on this mechanism of injury as well. It could cause rapid anoxia and brain death.

Also...in terms of putting her out of her misery, in reality if she fell on a stick and was impaled on it, simply pulling the stick out could be fatal. Misery could be defined as the terror/pain/trauma of being impaled on a stick. And removing it proved fatal. This scenario actually happens a lot. That is why they say leave the object in place even if the person is trying to pull it out or what not. IDK.

****End Graphic Content****

I can totally see this. What I can't understand is where is the blood? If this little girl was hurt on her head or in her neck there would be a lot of blood, even for such a tiny girl. She would bleed profusely. If this happened on the property, there would have been crime scene tape up way before early today. This scenario would not have been a closed head injury, if this did happen, the poor little girl's blood would be everywhere. Including on the clothing of the person "helping" her. :( :( :( :( :( :(

Has anyone found quotes from mom about the argument, or giving them breakfast? Thanks.

Maybe mom was out partying. Willow was screaming for mom and was hysterical. 22 year old tries and quiets her any way possible. A child screaming could be VERY frustrating to an immature young man. At 22, he is coming into an age that verbal communication is important and taken for granted. If Willow was hysterical, I could see him taken to far and be thrown into a blunt force trauma. That's the best case scenario I could come up with.

So, if this was occurring inside, the location would have to shift to outside (do we know that the outside pile is the exact location of where he killed her (I'm guessing so), or did he go outside, then bring a stick back inside? <still getting caught up>

I'm trying to understand the inside (house) vs outside (yard) equation, and how these two fit together timeline wise.

I read that more charges for JD are pending, including kidnapping. Anyone see any MSM accounts of this? And, again, new to posting so sorry if I'm not allowed to post such things.

Have seen it happen. Even have the photos (morbid maybe, but the child wanted to see what it looked like) One boy pushed the other and he fell on a pile of branches with a twig going into the back of his head. It went up on an angle and snapped off . There was a little bit of blood down the back of the neck but when removed at the doctors the blood flowed out. Accidents like this do happen...that's why we have doctors :twocents:

...and firefighters/medics, etc. I hear so many gory stories from my hubby... makes me a bit paranoid as a momma!

One of my kids has what we call "the corn scar"... long story short, at 3 yrs old he fell backwards from the top shelf in the pantry- hit the back of his head on the floor, the can of corn he was after fell and hit him right between the eyes, breaking his nose open to the point of cracking the cartilege (sp?) and he got stitches. I could write a book on his strange scars/injuries.

However. I am not so sure I believe so much of what I'm being fed.

I'm very interested in the details re: specifics of the dumpsite, and in what position was Willow in when she was found, etc...was she covered vs uncovered, buried, what all injuries did she sustain, etc etc, so many questions I really don't want to know the answer to but are important to know...:(

Willow's body will tell the story.

How long before volunteers that found her start talking?

I was surprised that he threw the rest of his kids under the bus by suggesting that the arrested son was the only "good" kid he had. Both of the interviews were just very strange IMO. Maybe he originally thought the foul play was in regards to Willow's mom and/or her friends?

MOO

I caught that as well , (said Justin didn't do drugs, drink, or anything -- to paraphrase), and let me tell peeps here on this forum --- a person can abstain from drugs, drink, etc., and they can STILL be a terrible person !
Some of the worst people have come off as being 'safe', or well-behaved in public ... and even to their own families.

Wanted to add... I kind of want to see that woodpile for myself ! Guess I'm thinking most people if starting to fall will put their hands out reflexively, meaning there would be injuries or scrapes to Willow's hands/arms.

The hardest part for me believing it was an 'accident' to start out with , is the actions that came after. Surely Justin can't be naive enough to think that hiding Willows' body was a good idea ? There's been no mention of his intelligence or lack thereof ; so I'm assuming he's of normal competence.
