So yeah, not that I ever believed the mercy killing story, but what the hello? Slit her throat and stabbed her in the heart. That sounds angry, not merciful. .

Or an idiot that watched too much TV/movies. Might have tried to remove stick, then (given what we see on TV or if one is a hunter) tried to slit her throat to end it or remove the stick (panicked more; due to the damage inflicted), after that didn't work...well. Seriously, one bad decision after another. COD/official autopsy would be nice.

From PC: We started out as a search for Willow on Sunday afternoon and as time went on we went from a search to a homicide. And in 36 hours we had a closure of this investigation and I think that is amazing that all of us have worked together to accomplish what we have accomplished today (more thanking of people)
