I like your theory except I think the probable cause statement did note the COD as a sliced artery near her clavicle, though. I hate trying to look things up while on my phone so please let me know if I'm wrong.

Oh. I missed that!
Hmm.
I am just not sure what they release to the public.
The autopsy report will be more specific - as far as additional injuries
Maybe there were none.

It had to be almost bloodless or it didn't happen in or around that home.
Moo
If the dogs didn't smell blood it wasn't there.
Remember the Boston bombing?
People saying how they smelled the blood?
OK. This is a much smaller scale but dogs would hit.
Even if rinsed down the drain.

All my opinion.

Gngr--I was referring to speculation that these kids were abused. That is a *strong* allegation IMO,and there are no facts that even warrant those thoughts IMO...

:grouphug:

Well...one child is dead and the other has been removed from the home, so it is not a totally off the wall thought either. JMO

Maybe she was in the trunk in the morning and he left early in order to dispose of her body.

Trunks and trash bags bring back some very sad memories (sweet Caylee).

*sigh*

I apologize I wasn't meaning by the mother obviously. It was an observation on the the deamenor of the younger son and the strong possibility that the Uncle will have things on his computer that are very bad.

:grouphug:

Still referring to the uncle regarding abuse.
3 yo allgedly couldn't speak well enough to inform mom of abuse

Son is in protective custody.
Taken in on September 10th.

Has there been a court hearing yet?
There are usually only two reasons it is usually done that quickly
Unsafe conditions OR neglect.
I am certain it was in order to investigate the situation.
However all my experience is here in GA -
MO. may be different.

ETA: corrected date child was removed from home.

No it's not...but it's not allowed to be discussed here unless there are facts to back it up.

I'm not trying to be a "momma dog", I'm just trying to keep this thread open and prevent the Nurse's Shot for the Newbies....

Hope you guys understand. I'm reading what you all are reading out there on the interweb--we just have to be careful...nothing is worse than being invested in a case on WS and then we get shut down due to TOS violations--it's awful!

I really think that when JD realized that CD was about to call LE about Willow being missing, he likely told her he couldn't hang around and wait for LE because he had to go to work and he left before LE showed up, even though it was an hour earlier than he needed to leave. He may have lied to her about when his shift started. Either that or he was unnerved after LE did show up and questioned him and needed to get away from the house ASAP so perhaps he even cut short his interview with them at the house and said he had to leave for work. If that is the case, I'll bet the red flags were starting to go up right then and there. Even though CD had apparently indicated that Willow was alive and well that morning, I'm sure LE would have been wondering how it was that the uncle felt it necessary to go to work while his niece was missing and LE had been called in.

MOO

he was at the house crying when she called le.

:grouphug:

In all fairness it has been reported by reputable sources that NG was removed from the home and both CD and JD are under CPS investigation. And seeing as how uncle JD is charged with 3 counts of murder in Willow's case, I think it's not wild speculation that these kids were abused.

MOO, but also supported by reports from MSM. :twocents:

I know we can't sleuth CD, but we can certainly discuss the CPS investigation as long as it doesn't go into insinuating that she had a hand in the brutal murder.....

At least that was how I understood SWMNBN's admonition. :seeya:

I am pretty sure we were told we could discuss the CPS investigation, including mom, but not her possible guilt in the murder, nor could we sleuth her.....i am off to find SWMNBM's post about that......

Well he was at the house crying when she returned from her own search of the neighbourhood. And yes, most likely he was still there when she called LE. But he may have left before they showed up. Or very shortly after. With the excuse that he had to get to work, which would not have been the case since he was an hour early for his shift. Not to mention that I'm sure his employer would have been very understanding should he have not shown up to work but rather gone out and looked for his niece along with everyone else.

Illinois DCFS took Willow Long's 3-year-old brother into custody on Sept 10th. Both the mother and uncle are under investigation

https://twitter.com/FOX2now

FYI this does not open sleuthing on the mother as she has not been named a suspect.

My bad. It was Coldpizza, not SWMNBN, and she said no sleuthing. But the DCFS stuff was posted by a mod so wouldn't that make it okay to discuss?

you die because you bleed profusely. i used to raise poultry- when i harvested the unwanted young roosters- i would cut their jugulars( i would hold them still till death(and apologize) - i don't like axes.
A major blood artery cut - is just pumpimg the blood out of the body - or pumping internally into places blood should not go -its is a quick painless death.. jmo moo

I don't think he killed her in the bathtub. Too many episodes of Forensics Files, there would be blood spatter on the ceiling and walls (medium velocity).

Also remember folks the boy was removed before the uncle was arrested - technically uncle was still living in the home.
And for all we know he may have harmed the boy that night as well.

Not accusing the mom of anything but maybe she didn't come home until 10.30 on Sunday morning after uncle has gone to work and left the toddler on his own? Would that be enough for the little man to be removed into protective custody.

Also the uncle has cut Willow's throat, there's going to be an awful lot of blood spray somewhere. How's he not left a bloodbath that's been found?

The law in Missouri - the child MUST. be in imminent danger before they can be taken.

1. The child is in need of care and treatment because the parent(s) has neglected him/her or refused to provide proper support, education, medical, surgical or other care required by law;
2. The child is otherwise without proper care, custody or support;
3. The behavior, environment or associations of the child are injurious to his/her welfare or that of others; or
4. The child is charged with an offense not classified as criminal if committed by an adult (status offender).
