CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A woman has been reported missing from Kenwood on the South Side.

Yolando Douglas, 53, was last seen April 15 in the 4700 block of South Woodlawn Avenue, Chicago police said.

Douglas is 5-feet-6-inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds, police said.

Anyone who knows her location is asked to call Area Central SVU detectives at 312-747-8380.

Wow, this is a long time to be missing. Why are we just hearing about this? Who reported Yolando missing and when?

It appears from posts from her family on FB that her first name is spelled Yolanda with an "a" not an "o". The Chicago Sun Times did the initial misspellings. I did find an open lawsuit from a person with her name in her county that had activity as late as October of 2019. Case activity for Yolanda Douglas vs Terrance Brooms on Oct. 15 If you do follow some of her missing pages on FB there is an interesting comment about being last seen in court but there may well be more than one person with that name in Cook County so the court record is only speculation at this point.
