GUILTY IL - Zachary Irvin, 22, found dismembered, East St Louis, 20 June 2010

Oh, Lila and Lorik--My heart just aches for your family. I'm pleased that the truth is coming out but just heartbroken for Zachary. All I can hold on to is that he did believe in an afterlife and he must have known and felt that Jesus was waiting to welcome him. I have to hold on to that. I know that he's no longer in pain.

I'm so hopeful that articles such as this will spur more and more people to step forward and ask questions and to more closely look at this monster.

Just know that my prayers are with you all.

Can anyone find the search warrants? The Post Dispatch reports that they have obtained them but I see no link. Usually, once a paper gets their hands on them, they release them. Where are they?

Thanks so much, lorik200. I'd seen both those sites but hadn't looked in a while. I'm actually very impressed that two of Iagulli's relative weighed in. I respect them for doing that. This can't be easy for the Iagulli family. I noticed that no one has yet to answer the questions about Iagulli's father or about the recent death of the the young man possibly related to Iagulli last year. He was a DJ (disc jockey) and his name was J. Iagulli.

I'll keep an eye on these but still have not found the search warrants. It's very odd to read that the news source has them and yet has not released them. They usually do immediately. Very odd. Also, not a word about the torso found. Why the heck not?

STATE OF NEW JERSEY, PLAINTIFF-RESPONDENT,
v.
ROGER STILLWELL, DEFENDANT-APPELLANT

Are my eyes deceiving me? Is this it? I think it is. The entire timeline as reported by Iagulli's father. Someone must have just made it available as I've looked for months. Sounds like a murder of passion and rage, plain and simple. No doubt Iagulli's father was impacted by it but it doesn't sound as if he took part in the murder or any sort of ritual at all.

Roger Stillwell, quite plainly, killed his father in cold blood and then tried to cover it up by staging a robbery. Iagulli just kept his mouth shut until he needed leverage in another case. I have no idea what case that might be or exactly where the issue of sacrificing rabbits came up. It was Filly that first brought up the issue of rabbits but she thought it had something to do with the murder. I don't see that.

Man, that took a long time to find.

Wow! You found this! Impressive.

O.K. now I have to go look up where I saw the rabbits come into play. I will find it though. Good lookout, Izzy.

Izzy, I got that either from MDS a forum OR under news archives regarding the person convicted up there. I will find it though and link it. You know I have "sometimers".

So Iagulli told this story later to get out of another crime- so this is what he said.....only he and stillwell knows what happened - how it went ......I seen something about rabbit sacrifice too- dont remember where now-

FWIW, Iagulli's father witnessed or possibly participated in a murder. It was his story so he could tell it as he wished. Having both birth and adopted children, I can attest to the power of nature vs. nurture. It doesn't matter how much love, stability, and caring guidance is given to a child if they carry a certain genetic code which predisposes them to violence, IMO.

Dennis Iagulli was his father's son. No doubt about it.

There's a reader's comment about "rabbit sacrifice" below the article at this link...no other details, however.

I believe (might be wrong) that that comment was posted by a family member in response to our discussion of the subject. We've also discussed the meaning of the word "Ruebyn" written on the wall and you'll note they ask about that too. I think this family member is trying to answer these questions as well. She/he was asking them of one of Iagulli's family members who signed onto that forum.

Hope this makes sense. It's a bit like a cat chasing its tail.

that comment was posted and directed to mike from a family member but it wasnt from the boards here- Ruebyn is a fact- it was written on the walls with the red paint-right by Iagulli Ohio- I will always say Ruebyn is another person- after the two are sentenced all the facts the police have will come out but right now they arnt saying much-Ruebyn is prob. another victim- I had also seen somewhere that Iagullis dad was doing rabbit sacrifices but now I dont remember where-if you look at them (iagulli's) on myspace they all seem to sway with the dark- this has been too hard to try and remember where I found things at- Zach had it right with the Lord and that gives me some ease - no matter what punishment the law gives those two its the Lord they will answer to- I would like to find more on Pierson- why was he Iagulli's side kick? how long were they buds? was Iagulli the leader Pierson wasnt charged with sex crime ???

Just wanted everyone to look on crimecrawlers.com again, pierson's ex wife gave some insight into his disturbed past.

Thank you, cuztoo, and welcome!! That's eye-opening all right. It sounds as if the woman was lucky to make it out alive. Here's the link:

The post is down near the very bottom, dated Dec. 29th and signed by Tonya. Always note that there's some language at this site but lots of interesting facts and weigh-ins.

Once again, thank you for the heads up. I check every single day to see if there's been any updates. Do you know personally of any?

And if Zachary was a friend or family member, please know that we are all so sorry about his passing.

For the record, "Tonya" has been given the St. Clair Co. State's Attorney's number in hope she'll relay her information about Pierson. (she did contact me via email for direction) I really believe she'll make that call, she has a very interesting and private tale to tell regarding this punk.

Just wanted to stop in after reading your extensive work regarding this crime to say, "Kudos".

Post Script: I know our language deserves big disclaimers - I couldn't help but chuckle reading them ;) My staff actually has an active pool regarding how long I'll last here before getting banned. Can you believe it? They fought over the first square.

I feel privileged to be the first to say welcome, ThinkGoat!! The work you do is amazing. Don't worry, you won't be the only WSer who has to watch their tongue. Filly just about has to sit on hers!! This is a great place, though, and lots of truly helpful research gets done. Welcome!!!

I'm very impressed that family members have stepped forward on several sites to speak out about this horrid crime. This was not merely a "beef" IMO, but something far darker. Zachary's family deserves answers and closure.

May I wish you a Happy 2011.

Missizzy

(FWIW, I think you comported yourself as a perfect gentleman.)
