A fire department response was sent after a vehicle, believed to be over 50 years old, was discovered submerged in a pond in Deer Park, officials said.

As of today, they are still trying to recover the vehicle.

Covelli said the car is possibly over 55 years old, from the 1950s or 1960s.

One second while I struggle with something from the 50's or 60's being considered "antique".

I legit thought they'd found a Model T or something.

In Illinois a vehicle qualifies for an AV plate once the car is 25. So anyone with a 2000 vehicle now qualifies, lol.

I thought this might relate to a very cold MO case. No word yet ....

Really curious as to what...or who...they might find when they're able to get fully inside. Also, as to what make and model vehicle this will turn out to be. Such a mystery at this point.
