Immunity and the A Family- **MERGED**Charges??

IMO, LA is as mixed up emotionally as bad as the rest of the disfunctional family.
The whole family unit looks like they are co dependent on each other. And I think each one is afraid to break the unit of 4 up. IMo

Don't know why but I have been worried about LA since he moved back into that house. Don't know just how involved he is but I do believe it was after the fact. LA and GA do not seem especially close and I think LA was the one CA sent to 'fix' things. So who did/does LA have to go to when needed? I think family dynamics will play a large part in any testimony.

Any word on whether or not Lee will get Criminal Immunity? I would rather the State avoid deals like this-I really think they have the case all set without any of the Anthony's and I have to believe that this cast of characters would be capable of continuing to lead all down the "wrong" path if given any kind of immunity....jmo.

Do you mean will influence the state's decision to call him? He doesn't get to make the decision as to whether or not to testify for the state. If they call him, he goes.... if they don't call him he doesn't. If he is called and doesn't go then he better be dead or in ICU.

Depending on what he's planning to say on the witness stand CA may take care of that herself. :bang:

at times I've viewed him as almost the forgotten A......but then when he does make an appearance it is generally full of ......:waitasec::bang: then off into hiding again...I question the moving back home bit in lieu of his atty comments andwonder if its in preparation...I don't think she had help with the murder but the cover-up and such...those notebooks are mighty important if you ask me..they all had them...:furious: and they all did their own investigation...odd that they choose not to share them with others---but wanted others to share with them....:waitasec::furious::furious:

My son had to testify in a murder trial when He was in 9th grade, because of something he overheard. (my son is a good guy and was no way involved). He had to be at the court house for a few days waiting for them to call him and never got to watch any of the trial at all.
It was a real eye opener for me.. as there were 3 or 4 kids up on murder charges and the ones with public defenders got convicted and the one with the high priced lawyer got off, scott free.
I know this is a bit off topic.. but I was amazed at how nasty acting that high priced attorney was and how he treated the witnesses, Including my son who was just an innocent kid. I can imagine how the lawyers will deal with the A's and all their confusing stories and lies.

Bolded by me

One of my daughters was to testify at an assult trial when she was just 14. She witnessed the assault at her high school. She heard several of perps' buddies bet him $25 that he wouldn't punch someone in the nose. He took them up on the bet and, everyone agreed, randomly broke the nose of the next guy he saw. The victim was just the next kid he saw.

Three times, my husband and I took off work to pick our daughter up and take her to the court. The first two times, the defense attorney just didn't show. In our 3rd trip to court, we watched the prosecution announce, in court, that a plea deal had been reached. The very arrogant defense attorney stood up and demanded that the courtroom be emptied in order to protect his client's privacy. The judge, in court, said that wasn't necessary. The defense attorney insisted and we all had to leave.

We eventually learned the results through the high school rumor mill. The charges were basically dropped so that the perp, who was a key player on the school's football team, would not loose any potential college scholarships.
He was back in school within the month.

Throughout the months this took, we had several times asked the prosecutor's office for protection for our daughter as she was the only witness who was not a team-mate of the perp. They sympathized but said that none could be provided unless an attempt was made to harm her. You can imagine how little sleep we had for months. No attempts were made and she was unharmed - except for her complete loss in the expectation of justice in our legal system.

The victim's face had to be surgically repaired. He and his family moved shortly after the court date, so we don't know if any civil action was ever taken. The perp's family had money and maybe restitution was part of the plea.

I must admit to a sneaky sympathy for LA, despite the high 5,the dog lady incident and the memorial removal.( I suspect CA sent him to the last two.) I guess it's because he is between a rock and a hard place. He seems bright, at least bright enough to realize that his sister is gone for a long time to come. His neice is gone forever.

So now comes his dilemma. If he testifies for Caylee's benefit, he looses the rest of his family (I can't see CA forgiving this, and she would lead GA) If he doesn't testify honestly, then he has to live with that for the rest of his life and he has lost himself. What a choice to face! So I guess it depends on just how much he wants to support CA and what kind of man he wants to be, for I do think LA has ideals.

I agree with being worried why a grown man would run back home. What happened to his girlfriend? It would of been the perfect way to leave the family and go straight without lying. GA/LA didn't get along, reason LA left in the first place, right? LA was 'out of the scene for a few months'......now back home with parents? Just seems so fishy.........who is keeping an eye on who? CA told kc in a jail tape that LA was sick............still sick? CA lost a ton of weight......nerves.........nothing makes sense so I 'll never figure this family out.....:bang:

Where did you here that GA and La didn't get along? I just noticed a distance there and didn't know why. Did you ever here a reason why they didn't mesh?

I'll never understand these people but LA is the only one I can find true sympathy for even tho his actions make me angry. With him, I get the feeling we are watching someone drown.

Oh paintr, that is so sad yet true. It is painful for me to watch.

I think LA went back to the house so they could all get their stories straight.

When things really start to come out we'll find out that LA was involved a lot in this whole thing. :cow:

Do you think he was around for what happened or do you think he entered after the fact and covered up?

I don't think he was around when she killed him but when the excrement hit the oscillating air moving device he jumped in very quickly to help with the cover-up.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least to find out DC was speaking to LA while searching for Caylees remains.

nothing surprises me to much with this case anymore....seems like a calm and than whooooooooo bombshell...

Has Lee made it back from Tampa to see George yet?

I think he moved back home to help with the bills. Neither of his parents are working, and may be in real danger of losing their home.
