Hmmmm....... he's just NOW figuring this out?
What rock has he been hiding under I wonder........
What rock has he been hiding under I wonder........
Full article atLuka said he fears his client may be charged with obstruction of justice or evidence tampering.
Lee Anthony has also been under other family related stresses, his attorney said.
"He’s struggling with the grief of the death of his niece, he is struggling with the fact that his sister, who he is very close to, is in jail and facing life in prison," Luka said. "He is facing the fact that the economic situation in his house is not the best."
Lee Anthony has been working 18-hour days arranging parking areas for the Super Bowl. He also moved home to save money on rent.
"There were a number of instances where he was acting on behalf of his sister, or on behalf of law enforcement, that now could be seen as something less than benign or could be seen as hindering the investigation instead of assisting it," Luka said.
I don't get it, lee's attorney is griping about not getting a supoena yet.
I didn't believe there was even a trial date set as of yet!
Lee's attorney has been screaming of Lee's possible involvement for a while now.
Quite an odd thing to advertise, imo.

Who gave LA the authority to act on behalf of LE?
And if LA gained info about the disappearance of Caylee, what did he do with it, about it? Report to LE or attempt to hide it? From what the attorney is saying it looks like his client made attempts to do something other than report it to LE.

He was acting on behalf of law enforcement.
I told you.
I said LA was trying to act like he was helping LE but he was really trying to keep an eye on where they were going in the investigation and trying to steer what Casey's friends would say to them.
I bet we will find out that he told her friends not to say certain things, or advised them not to talk to LE. I think we will hear that Cindy did the same, most specifically to her mother, because I believe she told her mom not to say anything about the stolen money.
I bet we find out LA deleted some things on Casey's computer and maybe made up those phony work emails.
Your bolded part of the question stood out for me as well. What???? I didn't know that LE asked Lee to act on their behalf? I highly doubt it. He definitely did something and I can't believe his lawyer keeps confirming that publically. If he did something he thought was innocuous at the time, and in hindsight he realizes it could be seen the wrong way...why isn't he cooperating and setting the record straight. Something is amiss but I can't put my finger on it. I thought it bizarre that he required a subpoena for his DNA when any lawyer would have told him they would get it. I don't think it has to do with witness tampering because that is an extremely serious charge and that's not what his lawyer is saying. Three things I know are significant are this: One, at the beginning he was forthright with LE and gave them info. Two, his lawyer stated recently that due to his own investigation he could not rule his sister out as having done something to Caylee. Three: he is no longer cooperating with LE and hasn't been for awhile. So why the change?Who gave LA the authority to act on behalf of LE?

In addition to the computer, receipts and emails we know he was involved with my guess has always been that Lee was out "interviewing" the other witnesses. Trying to find out what they said to LE already and trying to shape any future statements. It says it would appear that he hindered the investigation. That and he may have been on the phone with the PI.
He may be referring to wanting an investigative subpoena issued, but Lee's attorney and his statements have always baffled me. If Lee truly believes he is going to be charged with obstruction or evidence tampering (I notice his attorney hasn't said accessory after the fact) than he is not going to come in for questioning willingly.
Lee is a Double Agent! :nyah::laughbounce::rolling:

From the report linked originally by Suzi Q:
"A court hearing in the case was already planned for Friday to discuss other issues in the case, including allowing Baez to search the area where Caylee's remains were found without permission of the land's owner."
IIRC, OCSO was willing to release the crime scene to he and his experts on that Wednesday weeks ago, but Baez said no thanks.
Why the change of heart now? Because someone is telling him he can't?
The secret evidence pointed to in this article are the hairs and dirt found after Dr. Lee examined the car-it is in the last document dump...wanna bet???
