We are lined up to get inside the courtroom for today’s hearing. Courthouse doors open at 8am. Hearing starts at 10am.

Boots on the ground in #Delphi, IN. Huge day in court as the defense has filed a motion seeking to exclude the unspent shell and the alleged tool markings on it, at trial. No phones allowed during court...but I'll be updating throughout the day. #JusticeforAbbyandLibby

DELPHI, Ind. — Defendant Richard Allen will be back in court Thursday morning for an important day of hearings in the Delphi murders case. 13News will have several reporters inside the courtroom to explain what happened and what it means.
Allen was arrested last October and charged with the murders of teenagers Abby Williams and Libby German, whose bodies were found near the Delphi Monon High Bridge in February 2017.

Setting a trial date
13News has learned a trial date will likely be set for sometime within the next six months, and Richard Allen’s trial could start as early as mid-fall.This portion of the hearing is expected to last only a few minutes.

Looks like RA shaved off the foot long beard he had grown after the murders and has lot a noticeable amount of weight.
I think he grew that beard out after the murders purposely to look less like bridge guy and I also believe he is intentionally presenting himself disheveled and thinner to do the same. Sly like a fox.

DELPHI | Richard Allen is back in court this morning for a hearing in the Delphi Murders Trial. Law enforcement took Allen in a side door to the courthouse.
Richard Allen’s attorneys have made their way into the courthouse. Allen is set to appear before a judge at 10am. No phones are allowed in the courtroom, so I will update as I can.
