Oh, and the moon was in the seventh house, and Jupiter aligned with Mars*

This barrel of horse poop is all that the defense can offer up to try and create reasonable doubt. Ain’t gonna work.
Those that love the memory of these precious children need to demand dignity for them during this trial. Do not let the hyenas murder them twice with this trial.

*10 points if you remember the reference. ;)

Amateur opinion and speculation
I get 10 points. :)

I can't agree more with your statement "Do not let the hyenas murder them twice with this trial'. Well said.

How long would it take to stage this crime scene?

I would assume redressing a dead body would take awhile and wasn’t RA seen back on the road going towards his car about 90 mins later?

That’s one aspect I’m intrigued by because the Crime scene sounds absolutely convoluted. The timeline does sound tight which may be a issue imo

I think the documents are really from his attorney.
They go after the YBG sketch, as expected.

Defense attorneys said a key witness described a vehicle that looked nothing like Allen’s black Ford Focus. The same witness described a man who didn’t resemble Allen. Her description involved a white male in his 20s with brown curly hair and a medium build—the subject of Composite Sketch No. 2.

The sketch bears little resemblance to Allen, the attorneys contend, and investigators didn’t release it for more than two years after the killings. The original composite sketch was released within months of the Delphi murders and showed a heavier set, older individual.

This sums it up for me:
“The filings represent the latest legal maneuvering by Allen’s attorneys in the Delphi case.”

As a parent who has dressed sleeping children many times, I don't think it would necessarily be that difficult to redress a body in clothes that were many sizes too big for her. According to the document he put Libby's clothes on Abby. Whether that was out of convenience since it'd be much easier to put them on due to the size or he simply grabbed the wrong clothes and didn't bother fixing his mistake.

The branches, I don't even know what to think. I looked up Odin runes and they're all so basic that if you drop a pack of pick up sticks I'd bet a few of those could be found in a pile. So while I think it's most likely that the scene was staged with Odin runes, I also wouldn't be surprised if they just coincidentally resemble odin runes based solely on how basic they look.

I think RA would have been able to handle the girls quickly and easily with a gun, they were young and so vulnerable. So getting them down the bridge, over the creek (it wasn't deep at that sandy area) and up onto the other bank would have been a few minutes.

I don't want to speculate the graphic details, but 90 minutes is a long time when you think about it, especially if thankfully there was no actual SA involved.

So very sorry for Abby and Libby regardless of how they met their fate that day. :(

<modsnip>

Pagan rituals, odinists? Really?

When does it become criminal for Defence Attorneys to just make up crap and waste the court’s time, resources and funds?

When does it become criminal to lie and make up stories at the expense of two young girls’ lives?

They should be ashamed of themselves. They should be disbarred.

I’m DISGUSTED!

Abby and Libby deserve so much more.

If you missed reading this memorandum before it was taken down and really want to read it, it is included in this article…I’ll pass…

Our problem here, regardless of how outlandish the allegations, is reasonable doubt. The missing Purdue professor and his report, Abbey allegedly dating the son of one of the cult members, guards uniforms, and missing bullet info and so on. All it takes is one juror…..

100% as I still believe RA is guilty but there is stuff in here that does raise massive questions. I guess that’s the whole point is you throw enough mud and something will stick IMO

It’s Very interesting how they have gone into detail on the crime scene. Is this so come to trial people are desensitized towards what happened as reading about AW death is heartbreaking while the person watched on waiting for her to succumb to the injuries he inflicted. What does leaking all these details do besides add in more pain and misery towards the victims families?

My respect towards the parents have gone up yet again after reading the crime scene. I don’t know how they have remained so dignified in response to something so utterly horrific.

I hate to admit this, but in my mind, their version of what happened seems more detailed and compelling than what was established in the PCA for RA.

It still certainly doesn't explain why he would have confessed multiple times. But no DNA or electronic connections to the victims...and only an ejected bullet possibly linking RA to the crime scene...again, I really hate to admit it. But I went from as late as early this morning thinking there was no way this was going to trial and that RA would plead guilty to now having doubt.

Whatever the truth is, I think the investigators failed these two girls.

Nah, stay tuned. The Prosecution wouldn't proceed unless they were convinced they could get a conviction; this is too high profile for them to misstep. As to your doubt, well you are playing in to the hands of a skillful Defender who is planting "reasonable doubt".

Don't fall for it. Keep the faith.

Thank you for the "chin up". I very much needed it.
