As far as I know, this angle and geocaching both were discussed Very early on. Unfortunately we are not aloud to discuss any of it here. In early threads people began discussing individuals from these groups and even posting side by side pics of BG and random individuals. My best advice for anybody who wants to dig deeper, google is your friend and secondly never mention anything you find there unless it’s been brought up in MSM or approved by a moderator. Moo

Oh sorry, i wasn’t aware of any previous discussion about BG possibly having an Illinois accent as per the recording of his voice.

There are a couple of things I find particularly interesting about Michelle’s case in relation to Abby and Libby’s murders. One is the sketch of the suspect:

“On June 19, 1980, police released a composite sketch, developed based on descriptions provided by two witnesses, of the man they believed stabbed Martinko. The sketch indicated a white man in his late teens or early 20s, weighing between 165 and 175 pounds, and standing about 6 feet tall.

During the original investigation, detectives compiled a list of more than 80 potential suspects. More than 60 were tested and cleared.”

Maybe it turned out the man the witnesses thought had stabbed Michelle was someone who just happened to be near the scene and didn’t have anything to do with the crime. Or perhaps the composite just wasn’t very good

LE also released phenotyping composites in May, 2017, and that did not connect Burns to the murder, either. It was only after genetic genealogy was used that they were able to identify the suspect:

Also interesting, IMO, is the fact that the suspect lived only an hour away from the crime scene at the time, and continued to do so until he was caught 39 years later.

It doesn’t sound like he was eccentric or reclusive:

As others have suggested in recent days, maybe BG is closer to Delphi than one would think.

I don't know whether he's connected to the Delphi case, but I hope they're looking closely at Libby and Lyric's case in Waterloo IA, and other Iowa cold cases and disappearances. He would have been in his late teen in 1970, around 24-25 at the time of Martinko's murder. It's possible Martinko was an isolated action, but so many of these older cases are turning out to be serial murders...

He murdered a boy who lived across the street from me, and also a boy from my high school, during my first year.

Gacy fully enjoyed his little hobby, all under the nose of his wife ( literally).

sexually motivated murder is probably NEVER this one time thing.
