While I see what you are getting at and agree we need caution, LE would not be touting this far and wide unless they needed this talked about and kept in the forefront of discussion IMO.

Well, true. It puts pressure on the perp. But none of us are meant to examine the image and determine various odd things in it like catheters or goats or puppies or whatever, and thusly solve the case.

LE released the video to put pressure on him and also to get someone who knows him and could thus recognize his gait or voice or image, to call in a tip.

They absolutely aren't meaning for people who don't know him to scour a blown up image with few pixels and get clues from that which will solve the case.

I would eat my hat were that the case.

Has anyone been so unimaginative as to think that the white thing at his neck is just a white t-shirt, or am I the first?

Ha ha!!

Thanks for posting this video. I couldn't imagine it being a catheter but this video has convinced me it's a urinary drainage bag tube which connects to the catheter tube. (Not a more flexible, thinner circumference leg bag tube.) A catheter bag tube is made of firm and less flexible plastic and has a larger circumference than a catheter tube. Especially in slow motion, you can see the tube flip back and forth with each step of the right leg. Imo, it's the stiff tube which has come loose where he had it secured to his thigh (due to the larger bag and it's weight) ...at the place where the catheter actually connects to the drainage tube. The actual drainage bag would be secured to his calf. He would use a drainage bag rather than a smaller leg bag since the drainage bag holds more and he knows he'll be out in the park for an undetermined length of time. He would pull the tube up so there would be a slack between the catheter and the urinary bag connection... to prevent the two from separating. The two photos I've added might help explain visually. Imo, BG has a physical or neurological problem after all, imo. Loss of urinary bladder control or inability to urinate at all can be caused by many physical factors... accidents... injuries... too many to guess at. (Might explain why LE was looking for an older man though.)
If the girls gave him a run for his money and the two tubes came apart... he might have left lots of DNA behind.
All JMO.

While really proud of our technology and medical industry, I would expect to see these drainage bags (that are probably emptied once a day) in an ICU, not on a high, shaky, historical landmark bridge.

I'll let you in on a secret :) Not sure I could even do it on my hands and knees

Same here. I'm terrified of heights.

interesting...I wonder what the shock therapy was for.
It's strange how many people and I think Ted himself claims there was no childhood abuse, clearly, his GF sounded abusive, and his mother delusional, dissociative. Maybe, Ted didn't want to discuss it with anyone.

and I cannot wait until BG is arrested so we can disect his background next!

I can't wait until BG is arrested because the families of Abby and Libby need a closure, first.

And second, he is a danger to the community.

But I don't think he will ever measure up to Bundy.

Here is the interview with Bundy that I like more. He looks unusual with his long hair, more like a young revolutionary than a serial killer. But I think his attitude is not normal.

It was in 1977, he escaped and killed more after that.

I bolded your sentence above in order to reply. There are several casinos in the South Bend/Mishawaka area . At least one of those casinos is open 24/7. It would be a short drive from the South Bend or Mishawaka area to Delphi-2-3 hours.

Interesting to me, I've got a "vibe" about BG that he's from north of Delphi. Just a hunch, on my part. Some have mentioned a possible college-age student connection, University of Notre dame is in SB. Lots of other schools in that region of Indiana.

Since early on I've felt that BG was home by dark or shortly thereafter, that evening. A distance of within 100 miles or thereabouts.

interesting statement by Robert Ives five weeks after the murders.

"This is a case, there’s lots of evidence out there but it needs to be matched up with a person, and that hasn’t been done yet,” said Ives.

We need to be patient, the 'official sketch' has changed, and LE have received a lot of new tips since the video and sketch were released. Takes time to sift through all that.

Or, he is from the area and has grown up traversing that bridge, is a psychopath or sociopath who needs to live on the edge and is comfortable doing that, is in a helping profession where dealing comfortably with heights is a requirement. Interesting that one of the early un-official sketches, done by someone in prison, showed BG walking through flames on the ground...a fireman?

"The ground is getting too hot for him."

Thanks Charlotte123. I hadn't watched this one before. Very prolific liar but there's something about his behaviour/nervous energy that belies what he's saying. Very different than the interview he gave just before his execution.

Is Mr. Ives back as a deputy prosecutor in Carroll County?

The mistake we are all making with the Puppy/Goat is LE said to watch BG's 'Gator. Moo

Thanks Charlotte123. I hadn't watched this one before. Very prolific liar but there's something about his behaviour/nervous energy that belies what he's saying. Very different than the interview he gave just before his execution.

Before the execution, he still was waiting for the answer to his appeal for mercy to FLA governor. And the interview was in "poor me, victim of 🤬🤬🤬🤬 industry" tone. (His aunt described waking up at night to see 3-year-old Ted, standing with a knife at her bed. I doubt he had access to 🤬🤬🤬🤬 magazines at that time, but I think that ultimately, Ted was victim of own genes).

But also, I do believe that the 1977 interview caught him in the onset of a hypomanic phase. (Since he escaped two weeks later, was caught, escaped again, flew to FLA and went on a killing spree, he probably progressed further. He obviously had very high energy, but made many mistakes, one of them leading to his final arrest).

also, OT, but the first time I'd heard Delphi pronounced instead of just reading it in my head, my mind was completely blown.

Do you mean it's not Dell-phai?

I realize all of this has been discussed before, in detail, but here is another summary of information.

I have been trying to articulate the vehicle / driver conundrum. This is Part 1 of why it's bothering me. Part 2 will follow in the next few days.

We have conflicting reports from LE and the media.

Are we looking for the vehicle or are we looking for the driver AND is the vehicle tied to BG or someone else entirely?

From Carter on April 22nd:

"We're seeking the public's help to identify the driver of a vehicle that was parked at the old CPS DCS welfare building in the city of Delphi [that was abandoned - delete - later clarified] on the east side of County Road 300 North next to the Hoosier Heartland highway between the hours of noon to 5:00 on February 14th 2017. If you were parked there or know who was parked there please contact the officers at the command post at the Delphi city building."

Delphi murders: New sketch of killer, video from Libby's phone released

From Riley on May 7th (Updated May 20th):

"We're still looking for the car that was parked in the lot," Riley told News 18. "If somebody can give us that information, we want that information as quickly as possible."

ISP on Delphi killer: 'Somebody may have already interviewed him'

From the AP on April 22nd (but I have never actually found a quote from LE stating this),

"Carter also said police believe they know where the killer parked his car on the day of the murders. It was near a building that once housed child welfare offices."

Police release new sketch, video of suspect in Delphi murders

I don't find any of those conflicting. If they find the car they find the driver. And they believe he is the perp.

Do you mean it's not Dell-phai?

DELL-phai is how we pronounce it. It's the regional way, though, instead of pronouncing it "DELL-fee", the city it's named after. Most people call it that until they hear someone else pronounce it.
