( It’s not? I missed posting a Leazenby interview in the media thread?? Are you sure?? Which interview? I’ll make sure it’s posted there, which one?? )

I cannot find the video news segments. I know one of the Carrol County Sheriffs, I thought Leazenby - said (paraphrasing) they had talked to over a 1000 individuals and were down to a " couple of dozen."
Right after the 4/22/19 PC.

I also remember that comment but can't remember where or when.

Extract from Becky's interview with Gray Hughes:

So they came out and were doing some filing – they were out with the file cabinets, filing and stuff – and Kelsi came out – see, I don’t know the exact time of that, you know, why would we have paid attention to that – but she came out – it was probably close to 1:00 and said, “Hey, I work at 4:00. I’m going to go to a friend’s house for a little bit and then, then I’m going on to work. Well, as soon as Libby heard that, Libby jumped up and said, “Hey, will you take us to the bridge?” and Kelsi said, “I don’t care”.
...
So they left here right around – give or take a couple of minutes – they left here right around 1:30. What I do know is Kelsi had said that she was talking on the phone to her boyfriend when she dropped them off, and I looked at phone records and it shows that she called or the call came in from her boyfriend at 1:38. So she was talking to her boyfriend at 1:38 when she dropped them off.
Thank you @JudgeJudi!

Hmmm...

Well this refers to “1000” and is on “4/23”...I realize it’s not what you’re thinking of, though..I’ll keep looking:

Delphi Indiana Murders Update 2019: Indiana police get 1,000 tips in 1 day after releasing new sketch of girls' killer

(Still looking, I can’t remember if I remember that or not lol..)

ETA: Searching keywords, this pops up under “dozen”:

“The teens were reported missing on Feb. 13, 2017. Their bodies were discovered the next day. Since then, police have received more than 38,000 tips in the case. They still receive a dozen daily.”
Answers remain elusive 2 years after murders of Abby Williams and Libby German in Delphi

ETA:

Just found this:

Delphi murders: Unanswered questions 2 years after the slayings of Abby and Libby
DWIGHT ADAMS
INDIANAPOLIS STAR
Feb. 4, 2019

“The Delphi murders of two young teenagers, Abigail Williams and Liberty German, have haunted the nation for nearly two years.“

Snip

“Here are some of the questions that remain:

When did Abby and Libby die?”

Snip

“Law-enforcement authorities have not spoken about the estimated time when Abby and Libby are believed to have died — and they likely never will, unless there is an arrest.“

Snip

“Delphi murders: How were they killed?”

Snip

“Autopsies were conducted, but neither the coroner, Delphi police, Carroll County Sheriff's Office, Indiana State Police or FBI have officially revealed information about the cause of death or manner in which the teens were killed.“

Snip

“Have any suspects been arrested?”

Snip

“No. Law-enforcement authorities have conducted interviews over the past two years with more than 1,000 people, Riley said, but none have led to an arrest.“

Snip

“Is there more than one killer?”

"”There's still a possibility there may be more than one suspect," he said. "We have not narrowed it down to how many people have been involved in this."

Snip

“What evidence exists about the killer?”

Snip

“Was DNA found at the crime scene?
Police aren't saying.

Indiana State Police officials have not confirmed yet whether they have DNA samples that could lead to a possible suspect or suspects in the Delphi case.

However, a new state law, which took effect on Jan. 1, 2018, could help in the case. Now DNA samples can be collected from anyone accused of a felony; before that, police could only collect samples from someone already convicted of a crime.“

Snip

“How much time and money has been spent on the case?
Riley said he didn't know how much money has been spent, but he estimated that there have been "thousands" of hours spent by officers and detectives on the investigation.”
Feb 8, 2019”

I used the term "nature center" to mean the bridge and surrounding trails. This is probably not the best term. Maybe "hiking trails"? Or just, "Monon High Bridge"?
I think it is officially called the Marie Gerard Nature Reserve in the part where the drop off is, so you're not wrong.

I checked back to Apr 22 and couldn't find it so I'm not sure which is the one. It would be good to post it if we do find it though.
If it is a video segment it won't come up in searches but hopefully one if us will come across it.

You forgot all the conversations re: FSG. He works at the park and has been a fixture there and in the community for ages. Seems the posters new to this case dig up all the old topics and stir the pot all over again. No offense to them, I think it's a natural reaction, but I chuckle everytime someone starts thinking FSG might be BG. JMO
OBG maybe. :-)

@margarita25 and @Boxer I think I have finally found it. The HLN clip is no longer available but this is a link to a YouTube recording of it.

(It is in the form of a text banner at the bottom of the video at the beginning and end. "25+ remain in group of people being examined" no wonder we couldn't find it!!)

If anyone finds original, please put it in media thread. I have put this YouTube link in there already.

MOO on 4/23/2019 the follow up interviews with Leazenby suggested they were down to a couple of dozen. I take this to mean around 24 that have not been cleared.

Have you got a link to the Leazenby interview where he quotes that, I've missed it. Is it in the media thread?

(eta it is not in the media thread, i just looked so when we find it we need to add it)

I found this 50 second video which was published on Feb 12, 2019. Here are 2 screen grabs.

Delphi murders: 2 years and 38,000 tips later, no arrests in Abby, Libby's deaths

The video was also included in a Journal & Courier article published on 22 April, 2019.

Nice catch! I remembered this one too but for the life of me couldn't find it last night. I did get a lot of refreshers in other videos trying to find it :)

Snapchat actually keeps data that can be subpoenaed by police. KIK literally does not retain texts.
Agree about Kik. Not sure about SC and what it kept 2.5 years ago.

This might give us some idea.

Im glad to see you all didnt call off the search overnight. Good finds.

I wish I could find the legit source for me believing that either a family member or LEO said the audio contained BG becoming frustrated with the girls.

Im pretty convinced the source was audiovisual.

Also would like to find the news footage of local Delphi dignitaries announcing reaching a funding target or grant granted(for trails?). The Mayor is the 2nd speaker iirc.

I can't find the video in either of those articles. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

The first link is only a 50 second video and there is no article.
The second link is to a long article which includes the previously linked video.

I don't know why you can't see them because I just had a look in case there was a broken link but both worked for me.

Course not. Had a glass or two of some amber ale. ;-)
Will see what I can find on those others later on.

I remember it too but I think it was around the 2nd anniversary, prior to the release of the different sketch.

By now the number might be quite different.

As for the definition of a POI -

“.........But again, I'm going under the basic theory of everyone we talk to is a person of interest. We are interested in seeing what they were up to on Feb. 13."
UPDATED: ISP: Man arrested in Colorado not person of interest in Delphi case

Thanks Tresir ,

The one I had in mind was like an outdoor press conference with 3 or 4 speakers walking up to the microphone when it was their turn to speak.

An outdoor PC was held at the one year mark. Maybe it’s in this one? I notice it’s 20 minutes long but I haven’t watched it all.

How strange, they both went to Journal and Courier items for me. I'll check them again.

This is where the first link takes me.

And this is where the second one takes me.

It must be the new way J & C deal with those of us in the EU. They must be diverting us to an EU specific web area. Previously I would get a message the article wasn't available. So much for the world wide web.

That is strange. I just compared my links to yours and only the first one is different. It doesn't matter because both videos are the same. In the second link, scroll down to "About the Case" and it's underneath the second paragraph. You really only need to read the text in the second image I posted.

Thankfully we don't have the EU problem in Oz. Sometimes things that aren't available in the EU are on YouTube so it's worth checking out. I find some US things aren't available in Australia, but that's not because of the EU issue. I think they're just not available outside the US.
