The person in the video clearly has fused pelvis by the way he walks, the person in the video is atleast in their 30's. Adult males walk stiffer.

Dang you guys can tell a lot from one step, I must be missing something

Police Superintendent Doug Carter's body language imo, is very telling. There were moments, where it appeared that he stared someone down, someone who was on the left of the room. When he said "I recently watched a movie called The Shack", he turned and looked directly at someone to his left. A few moments later, he says "I can assure you, that how you left them in that woods, is not, is not what they're experiencing today" and the look on Doug Carter's face to whoever he is locking eye contact with, is powerful. There is so much hurt, anger and betrayal in Doug's face.

I wish we could see who was in the audience of the press conference.

My feeling is the killer is quite likely connected to one of the families and has been very supportive and helpful during the investigation.
Interesting. I haven't thought the killer is connected to the family. You could be right tho.

Nothing earth shattering.... I see a wall of media, which soothes my troubled thoughts that someone in particular was being eyeballed. Not entirely, but a lot.
I think someone was being eyeballed.....but I don't know why....or who

If BG was your son or brother would you turn him in?
I'm thinking that's what we have here....someone knowing but they love their relative so much they can't bring themselves to turn them in. It would be hard.

I know I would, and am sure many here at WS feel the same way. Unfortunately, so many people don't want the hassle of "getting involved" no matter what they know or how related to the situation.

I saw a video, it was a famous case where people looked out their windows of an apartment building while a woman was beat to death. I think someone called the police finally, but all because they didn't want to "get involved". They just closed the curtain and ignored her screams.

I hope these two sweet girls have touched enough lives it gets the right people involved. No matter how frightening or inconvenient it may seem.

I watched the video for hours enhancing it, I am no expert and may be wrong, but I have studied a lot of things and even now am doing primate observation for a physical anthropology class. It may just be my imagination but I feel having watched his mid section zoomed in, he has to be an adult 35+.

It could be that the DNA is nowhere in CODIS. If that is the case, I am not certain how they would be able to cross reference the DNA to match anyone.
JMO

Or it could be they don't have DNA.

I think the video clears up in some ways the white stretchy thinking sticking out of the top of his jacket. Some thought is might be cigarette or vape smoke, but it’s easy to see now the shape doesn’t change. Steady. It makes me think it might be part of the kit.

But did he know they would be there, or did he come prepared for any potential victim of his preference that might stumble along?
Could the white stretchy thing be protective goggles? Like.. he had them around his neck, but not on?

The only ones that wouldn't do it are the ones I'd be looking at....
To be fair once your dna is submitted to these companies they basically own it- some people just arent comfortable with that or future implications.

I am in healthcare. My personal opinion is that if he has a RBKA he would not try to chase down two teen girls. Stumbling around in that terrain, he'd likely fall to the ground. Not optimal for chasing someone down. However, he MAY be limping with a twisted knee after creeping around, peeking through trees and stalking them. He may have cracked his shin on part of the bridge climbing up onto it or may have twisted his ankle slipping and sliding around. By this point he was likely p***** off and wasn't stopping now. My other thought would be...regarding the "not blue eyes" [whatever was explained regarding eye color] perhaps he was high on drugs and his pupils large [blown] making his eyes a scary darker-than-normal color. If there was an injury to the leg causing a perceptible limp, that may be what LE was referencing when they said to watch his mannerisms. As far as hands in his pockets, he may have had a pistol resting inside a jacket pocket or other sort of weapon which he didn't want falling out when he made his move. I have my CCW and when in the woods alone, I do carry. I had to trot away from an animal before and kept my hand in the pocket to keep the pistol in place. Just my thoughts an IMO only.
I didnt read he chased them. I get what your saying But if you have a gun, .....

Me? Without hesitation. Not for a misdemeanor or something, but hurt a kid and you're toast in my eyes.
I think people go into denial. They just don't believe their loved one would do something like that.

I think you've nailed it. But they would have to live knowing the chances of him striking again were very high. Who could ever live with themselves knowing that. They are complicit.

Amateur opinion and speculation

I've been in similar situations and I'm a screaming loud mouth! Lol! I even ran into a bank one time screaming that someone was getting the crap beat out of them! Lol! Probably saved that kid's life.

If there is more video/audio footage, I doubt it's much more. On Snapchat, you have to hold the button to record and I don't know how much Liberty was capable of doing that, especially surreptitiously. Even when you hold the record button, it will only do I think one minute of video.

Unless she switched to her phone video app (did she have iPhone or Android, I don't know), only then could you set the phone to record and have it continue recording.

I think there is more video/audio footage than we think. In PC, Carter, made a point to say the person in the audio & on the bridge was “ONE” person.

If there was footage that showed him getting closer to them & then eventually hearing him speak maybe she just stuck per phone in her coat & kept recording ‍♀️ He just seemed very sure it was the same person. IMO

Could be, but I also think some people try to "fix" them.

To your points:
1. "Guys" means "everyone" in the midwest -- boys, girls, dogs, etc. I say, "Come on you guys, get in the house" when trying to round up my dogs. I live in Indiana.
4. More audio could be the girl's voices. If so, I thank LE for the editing. :( I really don't want to hear their fear.
6. I feel LE know who he is and knows he lives or has family in the area (they expected he may have returned to celebrate Easter with family).

I wonder if the car they are seeking was borrowed. Since I feel they know who the BG is, the car isn't directly connected to him but may have been borrowed. I think they are hoping the person that owns the car will remember loaning it to BG and come forward.

I am also wondering if the younger sketch was discounted due to a false alibi and now LE realizes it.

I don't think it was someone the girls knew or respected or Libby wouldn't have felt the uneasiness to begin recording. They were creeped out by him.

I am confused though -- do they or don't they have DNA?

JMO and thoughts...
I am from Indiana , too. It is common venacular to say "guys." There are common words that will let you know someone is from the Midwest. Like calling soda "pop."

Or it could be they don't have DNA.
You can imagine the atrocities that wouldn't leave DNA it could be easy to see why there wouldn't be any. I am not going to go into specifics.
To be fair once your dna is submitted to these companies they basically own it- some people just arent comfortable with that or future implications.
I actually deleted my ftdna upload because they made the info less private, not because I care if its used to solve crimes; but simply because they didn't ask for my consent. I am a part of Gedmatch gladly, I know the terms, I agreed to them. Its a matter of principle.

I’ve been thinking same thing BUT in my opinion if the killer was someone known to the girls, I’d think the audio recording would reflect them saying his name or some other info of familiarity which would have cracked this long ago...
