EXACTLY what I thought, sounds like a cop.
I thought I remembered from something in the very beginning (2017) that one of the areas biggest employers is a prison. Does anyone know if that is correct? If so, maybe the person is a corrections officer.

It was midnight when the search was called off. It is not safe to host sponsored searches in a dark wooded area near a river where anyone could be injured, lost, or otherwise incapacitated.

Nobody suspected murder at that point. IMO it's baseless to blame LE for calling off a night search. It is done constantly to protect the safety of the searchers and it is the accepted practice.
I’m actually blaming them more for not suspecting foul play then than anything else. I’ve heard the interviews with LE and they just weren’t really concerned yet while everyone who knew the girls were. It’s their initial mindset I take issue with. I don’t criticize LE often or lightly. But one recent interview in particular really irked me in this regard.

About his walk.

I was a nurse and my husband was a prosthetist (fabricated and fit artificial limbs) and I worked with him in his clinic over 10 years.
BG looks like he could possibly be a below the knee amputee on the right. A B/K prosthesis is usually held on by suction created by the stump fitting into the socket of the prosthesis. If the stump is extremely short, it is held on by a sleeve.
When he steps, the right pant leg has a telltale crease right under the knee. This is created when the lip of the prosthesis, or the top, catches on the material of the pant. It also happens when there is some slippage of the prosthesis. A lot of amputees wear baggier pants "cover" the prosthesis but this can lead to that crease.
When he picks up his left foot to take a step, you can see the sole of his shoe in the toe area because that's how most of us walk...heel to toe, meaning on the up step, our ankle flexes up to bring the toes up and to allow us to "land" on our heel first. He does that perfectly on the left.
When he raises his right leg, he raises it a bit higher and straight up, the sole of the shoe in the toe area cannot be seen at all, even as he brings it down. That's because their is no ankle flexion at that time. He brings it straight down. Not heel first, his whole foot comes down at the same time.
It's very subtle, and most people have no idea someone is a below the knee amputee but I caught that right away.
Number 1 reason people lose a limb is diabetes/circulation problems. Then trauma...motorcycle, car, tractor, lawn mower, industrial, etc. accidents. We of course have many vets with amputated limbs also.
A prosthetist usually takes care of the same person for life unless they move. It's very personal, and patients are extremely loyal to their prosthetists. If they sent the new sketch to every clinic in the nation, and he IS a below the knee amputee, his prosthetist would recognize him.
I sent my thoughts regarding the above to the tip email address of the state police.

Thank you so much for addressing this subject as this possibility had crossed my mind. However, I didn't post it because I am not familiar with prosthetics. I'm glad you called in the tip. Now back to reading and catching up with you all.

and it's impossible to recognize someone from a sketch you've never seen. They are asking everyone about a car parked at the DCS building for a few hours over two years ago and haven't given any description of it (to weed out false confessions). They just told everyone to disregard the sketch of the man they've been asking everyone to identify for two years. In what world is this good police work and not pure incompetence?
I’m confident that these agencies know what they are doing.

The FBI in particular, has decades of experience with cases like this.

Criticism now, without knowing what they know, what their strategy is, and what their concerns are, isn’t based on fact.

When and if we know what they know, there will be a time for nitpicking.

Right now it’s baseless, as we’re in the dark as to what is actually going on.

Crimes like this, are notoriously difficult to solve.

Okay! I’ve been in meetings all afternoon and quite obviously missed the most recent news? Can someone link me please?

  • #946
MSM needs to stop circulating the first sketch! It’s still in every link I see.

Indiana State Police say the newly released sketch is ‘representative of the face of the person captured in the video on Liberty German’s cell phone as he was walking on the high bridge.’ #DelphiMurders

Indiana State Police responding to questions about the sketches. ISP says 1st sketch released was a person of interest. Now, new one is more accurate. Still unclear on why the change. #DelphiMurders

After two years of reading some great WS threads, looking at potential suspects, viewing facial
and body analysis while always putting the older guy’s face on BG’s body walking on that bridge.... gonna have to get out the brain bleach!

Bingo! That absolutely explains the emotional early departure. Being told that for 2 years they've been looking for the wrong guy must have been heartbreaking.
I know it must be, but I still think they are wrong about the new sketch. A few of us pack a few pages pointed out the brim of the hat and the indentation on top of the hat. We may be wrong too, but the frames where he looks like its just hair is very distorted, there are tons of jpeg artifacts all over from the sun. If I was on a jury on someone played my (very amateur) enhancements and close ups, idk if I would be sold.

Something just doesn’t “feel right” about all of this-I don’t know how else to describe it. Moo.
It feels kind of twilight zonish doesn't it? I still stand firmly in my conviction they are messing with someone big time. But you know . . .

And if in 10 years this case is still cold and the police have still kept all the info they have hidden from the public should we still keep our mouths shut and not criticize or nitpick? They had their chance to solve this case and failed. Time to turn over everything to the public and let them solve the case they can't.

Funny how we all interpret differently. To me he sounds authoritative, not like someone to be afraid of, more like he’s told them “do what I say.....”, and he is directing them. Idk why he told them down the hill, where did he think they’d go?
They were probably frozen, thus the direction. He most likely had a gun pointed at them. Poor babies. Let’s get this coward!

Amateur opinion and speculation

Something is just not right about this entire crime. Who was covering for who? I always felt like they were taken down the wrong path on the witness situation.... in the beginning they were more concerned in prosecuting the old farmer.. then it was Nations...then it was another guy...I feel someone steered this case to their own benefit ...and it was away from the person who committed the crime. Now all of the sudden... they have "real" leads? What is really going on here?

I think police finally have some new evidence or a new witness, and the new information is causing then to rethink all their information.

Apparently the new info supports the 2/17/17 Bryant witness sketch. And its great there is something new.

“Time to turn over the case to the public?!”

No law enforcement agency would ever do that, not in a million years.

Unless they were completely insane.

Have you seen social media? I’ve seen dozens of people accused in the past couple of months alone. Several in the past two days.

I can’t even imagine the chaos that would cause, the privacy that would be violated, the laws that would be broken, and the ongoing case that would be destroyed.

That’s not how it works.

Thank God.

I agree.

The public always thinks they know better, almost invariably, that isn’t the case.

This isn’t some small town police department going it alone.

There are a great deal of state and federal resources being employed here.

We don’t know what they know, and for the most part, they appear to be relying on evidence supplied by witnesses.

If physical evidence is limited, and this is all you have to go on, it’s not easy to bring a case like this to a resolution.

It’s easy to criticize when you don’t have all the facts.

Prior to the press conference a lot of us were prepared to be let down if the “significant new direction” wasn’t significant. Well it was very significant and I agree, not knowing the facts shouldn’t diminish the fact the press conference was indeed significant in that someone younger, the driver of a car parked at the 300N block between noon and 5pm has now become the prime suspect.

For all we know, LE has a dozen or more suspects and sketches through various interviews of people who all came forward genuinely offering leads and for whatever reason, this guy has now risen to the top spot. I think that’s quite typical during the course of a complex, ongoing investigations, how investigative focus can change.

It surely does force us to reconsider our prior theories but that’s okay too.

Popping in to ask a question: I have it in my mind that there was 45 minutes of recorded material on Libby’s phone. Is this actually a fact, or have I gotten a widespread rumor stuck in my head?

Heck social media already has the case solved. Complete with ruining countless people’s lives. Thank God is right.

Our world needs 100% police transparency and oversight from the public.

Seriously! I don't think I'd be as shocked if LE told us the person in SWAT gear didn't kill Missy Bevers as I am about this!
