So far they’ve received over 1000 tips. I’m sure that number has grown by quite a bit at this point.

They’ll take what they can get, as long as they aren’t “social media photo comparisons.”

Unfortunately, I think that’s going to be the vast majority of the tips they receive.

It only takes one quality tip though, which is what they’re banking on.

The BEST way to submit a #DelphiMurders tip is by email to: [email protected]

Include specific info. All tips are reviewed. If more info is needed you’ll be contacted by return email or ☎️# if provided with your tip. Please, no social media photo comparisons!!

I think he was visiting him mom. Brought her flowers the day before Valentines day because he would be spending Valentines day with a girlfriend. Or at least he wanted his mom to think so.

I believe that. Thank you for sharing this.

Wow, what a clever thought.:):):)
BG may have borrowed this book, and Doug Carter is informing BG of this point.
MOO.
I believe the movie was shown on local t.v a few days before the news conference and the police superintendent watched the movie and thinks the killer may have too and is trying to bluff the killer into fearing they know more than they do. I think the whole news conference was directed by the FBI. They are trying to get the killer to do something stupid, or make an unusual move.

I feel very strongly that they know who the suspect is. I called in a tip tonight that I feel confident about. I almost didn’t because I felt so certain they already were on to it . I was able to do so based upon the new information provided on Monday.
Apples12, are you local to Delphi? Grew up there? Work there? Just curious of your connection, assuming there is one b/c you were able to confidently call in a tip (which we are all thankful for)

Wouldn't the residents of Delphi be worried that someone else could be attacked by this perpetrator?! It doesn't seem like LE is putting out any kind of warning. If I lived there, and had a teenager, I would be very nervous.
I’m sure they are worried.

I don’t think they need law enforcement to tell them that there is a child killer on the loose.

These people know, as they’ve lived with it for over two years.

Hopefully they don’t have to do that much longer.

I hope the thread wouldn't be shut down. We're too close imo.

Well, if an arrest was made, I don’t think people would be spending any time talking about g. c., unless it was relevant—so I hope they’d open the thread back up.

I think the Valentine day is significant, somehow, it is a date, after all. And my feeling is, either they made a mistake with the sketches and suddenly realized it, or, they saw some connection that was too obvious, the reason for the man to be in the bridge, and are angry with themselves for missing it.

A lot of things might have changed in two years. I hope they will find him.

MOO. I said threads ago that this person walks with his hips, and not forward with his legs like normal.

The new sketch has many similarities to the first, but a younger man.
Some think he has a moustache, but it looks to me more like a shadow. As for his shoes, they unfortunately do not show up at all well.

It’s definitely possible that Valentine’s Day has some significance.

Usually there is something that triggers a guy like this, and some sort of event involving a relationship, or the lack of one, could have set him off.

I believe that this guy has poor social skills, and that was evident in the way he chose to commit this crime.

He couldn’t lure a victim to him, so he had to go out and overpower one.

Unfortunately for the girls, they were together.

He may have been fueled by anger as to his lack of a romantic life, and took it out on them.

I zoomed right in & he appears to be muttering to himself.

How terrifying for those poor girls. I find this particular enhanced video the most frightening. It's so obvious now, imo, why Libby filmed this man. He does appear to be talking to himself and in an angry way. I realize pixels can be deceiving and people will fill in the blanks of an incomplete picture but just the same, what an horrible sight he is as he's approaching them.

I don't think the new sketch looks much like the video (which is albeit very hard to see clearly). I think they know who the suspect is and he looks now like the new sketch, not like he did in the video 2 years ago. It appears the video BG has straight brown hair coming down to his eyebrows (in a terrible haircut). You can see his part line toward the back of the top of his head. He also has a more square, stocky face than the new sketch.

ETA - I also think the guy in the new sketch looks angry. So whomever saw him saw the anger.

Some think he has a moustache, but it looks to me more like a shadow. As for his shoes, they unfortunately do not show up at all well.

Shortly after the murders, there was this:

Asked if residents should be afraid of a killer on the loose, Delphi's police chief responded "I think people are able to draw their own conclusions about the situation. They are smart enough to figure out with the situation warrants and what to think."

“I feel safe for this community. Whether or not folks should be alert and watchful, that’s a true statement. But we always encourage that folks always do that," said Sheriff Leazenby.

Now, apparently, it was worth mentioning at a press conference for Delphi residents that the murderer may have been seated in their midst.

I think the original sketch was made from the phone video, and the new released sketch was made from actual eyewitnesses. The importance of the eyewitnesses account may have only realized now, since the 1st sketch has lead no where.

I don’t understand. Geo caching is a sport, it is like discussing soccer

If Abby and Libby's playing soccer was in some way connected to their murder, of course, we would allow it.

Geocaching is not a sport nor do we know for certain if this is something Abby and Libby actually participated in let alone having anything to do with their murders.

We have gone down the geocaching road before and all it did was take the discussion down a deep and dark rabbit hole and the discussion became crazy and weird.

If you can show me or the mods a compelling reason why we should allow geocaching to be discussed again please send me a private message. Otherwise, it has nothing to do with this case so please do not discuss or even dance around the topic.

Thank you very much.
PS. Please do not discuss this post on Abby and Libby's thread. Keep on topic. Thanks

and he seems stocky, but it also looks like he was wearing extra clothing to disguise himself or for use later on :(. He is an extremely distressing sight to see on a desolate bridge.

they need somebody to place him there at that time, or the vehicle he was using - some other evidence. or a motive.

I, too, think they know, but they probably need some legal verification.

He could have been visiting the cemetery, and parked his car there.
Then he goes for his evil walk.
MOO.

I, too, think he was visiting the cemetery. I wonder if someone was born/died of Feb. 13.

I agree that his social skills may be not the best, and self-dialoguing might be another proof.
