Not being snarky with this..

Do y’all really think that when they’ve scheduled a random PC and announce it 3 days prior....the main person is just going to throw in his random TV shows he watches and personal opinions?

Especially when he’s been working this case for 2 YEARS? I know you can fake emotions, but that didn’t seem fake to me.

JMO

I certainly hope not.

But he also said the wrong date for when they wanted tips about the car parked at the abandoned business.

It's probably impossible but I was wondering if he had a prostetic right leg .When he steps forward to me it kinda looks as if he is kicking or throwing that part of his leg forward ? I know that's probably unlikely but I figured I throw that out there. Or did he have a stroke St one point.

It has been discussed at length.

Ugh. I hate that this is what is always initially thought.

I’m pretty sure he’s saying “Yanny” or it could be “laurel”
Something saying with mouth wide open and fast, while turning his head to his real left side. Almost as if shouting only one word; yes, maybe a word with an integrated "A". - My impression at least. :)

Could it be, that the dressed up person walks along the bridge and murders the girls (the one in the video)? (first pic).
He then removes his clothing and facial disguise (places into a bag) and leaves, looking completely different (second pic).
However, it is NOW stated the 2 pics are NOT of the same person.
I don't understand.:(
What other versions do folk think has happened????
MOO.

That is the scenario that made sense to me. Same guy, first sketch in disguise and second sketch without disguise. But LE has confirmed the two sketches are NOT the same guy.

And what prompted the switch to new sketch?

Confusing to say the least. Hopefully more updates to come will explain it.

I am so surprised no arrests made yet. I hope it's not some situation where they *know* who did it, but will never have enough evidence.

They have rain jackets with same exact loop in the same place, I think its thick cord that tightens the chest area, I am not sure though since i never owned that style of jacket. When I find the model of jacket it will all make sense. Also in my newest enhancement which you can see in the next thread after this closes, you can see it a little better
The duffel bag. The web handles. It isnt stuffed full but its lumpy with something.

I think he just teetered or is off balance from whatever is stuffed in his jacket

Is it possible LE interviewed a man that had been (and admitted to being) at the park that day that looked like the 1st BG sketch and they ruled him out which caused them to focus on this other sketch (#2) and in doing so with fresh eyes realized he's the real BG?

Anybody think BG seems a little pigeon toed?

It's been over 72 hours since the press conference. What is the single most important piece of information you feel we have learned?

The new picture. (And to ignore the old one.)

When the old becomes new again.
Remember "The Twist" Leazonby talked about? Was he having a premonition? (J/J) Taken from a transcription posted here.
"The Twist"
SL: Sure. Yeah. Yeah. Uhhmm that was the same obvious concept or thought process we had as well because um, you know, as I've (stumbles on words and says Excuse me) shared with other outlets, that we've had our share of, even double homicides, but they were elderly folks back in the 90s and it turned out to be, um, unfortunately, grandchildren involved in their deaths, and uh, so yeah, we were able to catch those pretty quick, but uh, umm, this one's just, it's, it's got a whole new, it's got a whole twist to it that, even I, as a 30 year veteran, have never seen.

Only Joking!

either that or they point out and he is countering that to be more balanced.

WHEW. I managed to make it through 69 pages and feel so caught up lol.
I know many have commented on the presser, how much was scripted, directed at BG, etc...
Something that has been sticking with me since Monday is how assertive and definitive the language used was.
What was missing was 'alleged', 'supposed', 'potential', 'suspected', etc.
Instead he used language that was so deliberately positive: he IS a local, others HAVE noticed changes since the killing, and (the most amazing to me, as it sets it apart from so many other pressers) he IS the murderer.
As others have said, I'm sure that's due to the influence and expert guidance of profilers & forensic psych professionals, but WOW I thought it so effective.
Though there was a huge side step with the sketch, and though there was no major developments released, the hard-hitting language and clear emotion made me feel, as many others here have said, that they were getting closer to squarely hitting their mark with the perpetrator, leaving little doubt that it was just a matter of time, and getting their ducks in a row.
The references to the positioning of the girls, the 'Shack' movie (I don't believe there was ANY ad-lib or otherwise non-deliberate things said, he used his script throughout, even when speaking from the heart), and his careful language was fascinating and IMHO impressively powerful.
Here's hoping we have nicely lined up ducks VERY soon.

Morgan, I love your post. So positive.:):):)
Each morning, I am waiting for "ARREST".o_O
Perhaps in the next few days.

Back then a lot of people thought the case was almost nailed shut and LE were just building their case. Now I wonder if he knew what he was talking about.

I've thought about that "twist" from time to time, and have vacillated between thinking there's a kooky, unusual aspect to the crime, perhaps tied to the condition or position of the bodies, OR the whole situation is "twisted" due to all of the unusual circumstances (two victims, middle of the day, short timeline, video evidence, etc.) IMO MOO
