This map works with my brain better as well. Do you know where the girls' were located on that map?

I’m not familiar with the location on the map, hoping others can pinpoint. This is what Wiki has: “authorities did not suspect foul play in the disappearance until the bodies of the girls were found the next day, about 0.5 miles (0.80 km) east of the abandoned deck girder bridge. The bodies were discovered around noon on February 14, 2017, about 50 feet from the north bank of Deer Creek.”

I thought of this too! Someone who called an anonymous tip they went back and realized it was important and they want to talk to that person, quickly.

I rather like that idea. The idea that Somebody called Crime Stoppers anonymously long ago and said they had a description of somebody that now meets the new drawing. And all they know is that person when they called and said I parked at the abandoned building and was there from 1 to 5, and I saw a stranger that look like this or something else like that.

Yes, the time factor is perplexing to me, LE saying that the murders occurred shortly after the video capture? What is shortly?? Has anyone calculated how long it would take to walk from that point on the bridge to the spot their bodies were found? Surely, he did not carry them there. Forgive me if this has already been hashed over.

I think the exact wording was "minutes". Which I take to mean less than 15 or so.

Bottom right corner, between where it says to Wilson Bridge and 300 North.

So it looks like they were returning on the bridge to the trialside, like where the sister had dropped them off and he took them down around to the area where he killed them.
So they likely walked to the end of the bridge and then walked back? Is that what most people are thinking?

Good question. His only family was his elderly, disabled mother, whom he lived with. And I just didn't consider contacting her a prudent option. I really really really thought LE would follow-up with me. I called several times to different numbers. In fact, I think I will call them again today. Thank you.

Your post really has me intrigued, and making me think what would I do in your shoes. I think I might note if he is still working there, and what time he enters the building on certain days currently. And then I would call law enforcement back.

That would give them the impression that you really can identify the person from that far away.

ETA I like the idea that others have given of putting it in writing and also contacting FBI office possibly.

Regarding the car. . .
What if no one actually witnessed a car there? What if they only found evidence of a car being parked there?
Something along the lines of motor oil, tire tracks, leaky radiator, skid marks, dumped out ashtray or other detritus, etc. I can't recall if I've seen this theory before, but it just sort of popped into my head. MOO

ETA: That would explain the lack of any specific info about the type/color/age/etc. of a "specific" car.

And if it was an anonymous person that called in and said that they had parked there that day and gave them information, the anonymous person may not have said what they were driving, just that they had parked at that building that day and now they want to talk to that person again.

Or maybe worst of all, did the person literally "give them the information they were looking for" – not the truth, but what the interviewer expected of him/her, assumed to be truthful and even obvious given the person's absolute trustworthiness?

This is what I think. I think they meant, "You told us (or a reporter) what we wanted to hear. We believed your false alibi. Now we know better and know you lied."

Please tone down the ridiculing or demeaning the opinions/suggestions of others in this thread.

Thank you.

No, I don't think that at all. The reason being I do not think he would apprehend two girls and then risk going all the way back across the bridge while the girls were under duress. I think the down the hill was when he approached them and they walked towards the side which they were already at the end of.

Almost done with my map. Where on the bridge the 2:07 snapchat photo taken?

Yes. I mean that they had walked to one end and we're in their way back to the other end, where they started, when he grabbed them?

Have I missed something?

We know where the photo was taken of him on her phone. They were on the far side of the bridge at that time. With your scenario, they would have had to have passed him after they took that picture, and he would have had to have followed them all the way back to the other side where they came from. I just don't think that happened. My opinion. For that to have happened he would have had to been behind them without them being under duress and having to catch up to them right before they were getting back to where they were started. That just doesn't make sense to me. I just don't see it.

I think most people and LE believe the girls had not turned around when he approached them. If they crossed the creek (which seems almost certain per some LE comments) they did NOT go back across the bridge.

They started on the NW end and were taken off the SE end and across the creek. imho

I have always wondered about a motorcycle too. But how does the car at DHS connect?
Maybe they first said vehicle because there was a small trailer hitched to a car that could carry a small dirt bike.

Thank you TT, Gitana, Dixie Girl, others who liked or commented on my post.

1. My main reason for my post was to try and relate to others how on a normal day, even before the crime takes place, I didn't just remember the gun shots or the fact that this man was murdered, but I remember all the ordinary things I observed beforehand, details which only that person I saw would know and did not write in my post about, which is why I think the information about the car LE is asking about in Delphi parked in the lot from 12-5 would mean something to someone out there who saw something (small details) before the crimes were committed.

2. Other LE tipline, detectives office, and Crimestoppers, I told no one except my partner.

3. I will contact the FBI today.

4. I hope to encourage anyone with any small or ordinary recollection from that day in Delphi who may have seen a vehicle parked in the old DCS lot to contact LE no matter how ordinary or mundane or redundant you think it may be.

5. BTW, the employee I saw that morning evidently stopped working there, or at least at that location a couple weeks later. No idea where he is now.

I dont think they even had a chance of going back because thats when we see BG in the video possibly telling them to go "down the hill." Then he got them across the Deer Creek where they were found. How we dont know. Were they alive when they crossed the creek? MOO
