I can't seem to edit my post. This was article saying "reported missing" at 5:30, so they reported at time of pickup without delay? Is there any link stating pickup?

Not trying to be disagreeable, just trying to get the timeline nailed down correctly with links.

I'm not sure I've seen an exact time for pick up...

It's very eerie that this article has a picture of someone on the bridge that looks very much like the back of the man whom LE is trying to identify.

Indont see how it looks like that man aside from the blue coat.. the pants and nothing else match IMO

Yep my dd and her friends were into photography and went to all sorts of nature places as well as abandoned places for pictures

My daughter and her friends did this too. I have so happy and blessed that my daughter and her friends had what I think is a fun, interesting, and wholesome hobby at that age. They had great adventures, and appropriate to their ages. This case hits very close to home. My daughter and friends are now adults, thankfully safe....and still with interesting hobbies and a sense of adventure.

This case me mourn for the loss of feeling safe.

Hello everyone, this is my first post. Some very good discussion here. My question is, the home they had a search warrant on, 11000 Bicycle Bridge - Google Maps, doesn't show any home that looks similar to the one that's been on the news. So was the home newly built (Google may go back as far as 2009?) or perhaps behind the woods? Except the area looks very open on the news reports. Basically, I was just trying to find the house. I have a few other items/questions but reading the rules I think its best not to post. Edited to add: This case is just chilling :-( The area and tracks is so creepy, too, to think of these girls there walking alone. (Of course, I probably did similar when I was younger... different times).

I don't think it is the exact numerical address. Try something a few hundred short of 11000 and I think you will find.

I haven't fully caught up but want to put a few thoughts in writing before I forget them.

Have we seen photos yet of the exact spot where they were found? Often in these types of horrific murders of children people place flowers, teddy nears, cards, etc at the crime scene. I would like to see the area more closely.

Also, it was said they were found on private property. So I take it the property is not fenced in but the public can walk through it?

Regarding the timeline, assuming that Libby herself uploaded the photo to snapchat we know that at 2.07pm they both were fine. We also know that between 3 and 3.30 they were scheduled to be picked up. I would assume that the person who picked them waited a little while, then maybe walked around a little bit, calling out their names? And then called LE at around 4 or 4.30? Iirc, at 5.30pm search teams had arrived. So this leaves something around 1.5 to 3 hours for the crimes to have been committed and the perp leaving the area undetected. What do you all think?

Based on this timeline, I don't think they were drugged as a drug would take some time to have an effect.

So for clarification, was the photo taken at 2:07 pm verified by LE as the shot of the unkown man? Or is LE just not verifying earlier 2:07 timestamp of Snapchat?

I am cringing.. as one time when I thought I was in danger...I did a quick photo. But I am not young and I would not have the foresight to quickly upload to Snapchat or another cloud / sharing app.

They weren't found til 12 the next day. Can we really assume they were deceased before they were called in missing?

They were reported missing at 530. I have not seen anywhere where a specific pick up time was stated, just that they failed to show up at a designated time. There was an unconfirmed report that they were supposed to be picked up between 3-330.

Normally just a photo or video and you can add a caption, but the photo is taken and posted at the same time. I'm not sure if you could upload a previously saved photo, but most teens take and post.

I wonder if the pace was quicker than that. Perhaps she took the photo on the bride earlier but didn't post it until a little bit later. Maybe the girls stopped at one point after crossing the bridge and then she'll scrolled through her photos to decide what to post. I imagine she's took several photos on their walk.

That's been mentioned before but I dunno...when I was a kid I could have easily handled it. I could often be found in the tip top of of some seriously tall trees, which I think probably could be seen as more "dangerous" than that bridge, now a days, but I had a great sense of spacial awareness and I never felt "unsafe" up there.
