Keep in mind the girls were found on private property, not part of the land the trail is on, with that said he may have known that and if he Did know that he lnew it would take longer to find them. On top of the fact that it was not looked
At as a kidnapping/murder case but that the girls were lost. So yeah he had some time before he was being looked for.

I've looked at the photo since they released everyday. I fail to see any stains or anything to indicate they have been worn in. Also, the jeans are over baggy by looking at his knee. Skinny legs? JMO

Me too. The pics just keep saying older guy to me. The bony knees poking into the jeans when he walks, and the legs appear as stiff as legs can appear in a grainy pic.

But I just keep coming back to an older guy, imo. 50's, imo.

This is what I recall as well. The woman they interviewed (her name was listed in the article but I can't find the link), and she stated she saw a couple, and a man. But no sign of the girls.

I'm very curious if the man was bg? If so that raises a lot of timeline questions imo.

Also if so, I am curios what her description was of him. Also the couple. Did the couple come forward and see anyone else?

All of these things we don't know, but I'm thinking since we don't have answers there's a reason for that.

All imo.

I am also curious about the couple. Maybe Bridge Guy was half of that couple. Maybe his 'wife' helped him commit the crime? Strangers things have happened...

Regarding his clothes, I'm thinking they have been burned in a trash pit already

Can't post rumors, either.

Betting that the suspect will no longer be wearing the items worn when photographed, especially the jacket.
If he wore it frequently prior to the murders, someone might notice that he no longer wears it, also expect that he might try to dispose of it somewhere, maybe garbage collectors or thrift shop personnel may spot it.
imo, speculation.
Not to mention the POSSIBILITY his clothes will be blood soaked, to some degree.

Do we have any confirmed locals here yet?

Wondering about landfill searches and or police asking if anyone noticed a neighbor having a backyard fire in the time after the murders?

I'm somewhat local. I read it before in an earlier post that we know nothing more than the rest of the country. As far as landfills, I do not know. There is one within say 50 miles but I would have to see a map. I used to live closer to Delphi years ago but I do not remember a landfill. It was farther away.

Backyard fire would have to be outside city limits. If inside city limits, it would raise red flags because you are not allowed to burn inside limits.

Well you would have no choice if they had a warrant. lol

If cops wanted to talk to me or get my consent for a search, I probably would not and would lawyer up first. What's the rush? You never know with desperate cops. Innocent people are convicted of awful crimes based on stuff they tell cops.

BBM: Respectfully, that's the exact reason for search warrants being issued by a judge. Some people will refuse, some innocent and also guilty. There has to be probable cause, hence the warrant. This is the added layer of protection (a judge) for the public. IMO the "rush" is that there is a dangerous killer out there.

Were the searches done via warrants or is that just what the media assumed and reported? They may have been consensual.

Posting rumors is not helpful IMO. Even if you don't include the link, it just muddies the waters even mentioning you heard a rumor.

Focusing on the facts we know may help get justice for these girls. Much better thing to focus on JMO.

Someone in the previous thread asked why LE hasn't gotten the tip needed to solve this. IMO that tip is probably sitting in a mountain of tips. Last I heard they had over 5000 tips.

Shaking my head. Thats sick. While I understand the reasoning, it boils down to the parent actively seeking a reason to sacrifice their child.
Yes, it is hard to hear. Usually though, with some psychoeducation, they shift their thoughts and then end up in services themselves. I would say their motivation to not believe is driven mostly by fear and guilt. It is easier to "fix" a liar than a child predator.

I imagine individuals this suspect knows may be driven by the same things. To accept that someone you care about could do something like this, you ask yourself - how did I not know? What's wrong with ME?

But of course those poor people had no choice now, did they?

No but they had a search warrant so something brought them to that house. I would have worried sooner about my reputation if that was the case. JMO

Well I'm not certain I am willing to risk being falsely accused or charged. I would want to know why police want to talk to me. As for warrants, I suspect a judge would sign one written in crayon in this case.

I would say that The US Constitution is of utmost importance.
Rumors are not probable cause. Probable cause is evidence.
No evidence = unlawful.

I haven't seen any information published that say's the searches were done because of rumor. There has to be probable cause for a judge to issue the warrant. That would not be rumor.
