Sorry if I missed this but why weren't the girls in school that day? Monday the 13th? Presidents day wasn't until the following Monday, the 20th?

Built in snow day.

It was a floating snow day. We've had a very mild winter this year. There was no school on the 13th.

I have a hard time believing they don't have the DNA results back if they have any. I know DNA takes time, but it's been almost two weeks.

I can't possibly keep up with this thread!

Has everyone seen this? It is a timeline with locations video made by Gray Hughes (Jodi Arias case). It's huge as far as what happened.

He shows that at one point the girls move 500 feet down the bridge, then all of a sudden, the perp is there. Did they run past him and then snap a pic of him continuing to walk? I'm not getting how this placement is happening. Also, they DID cross the creek. Did they cross it by following the road and then once on the ot
her side, the perp says go down the hill? The up closeness of the scenes is terrible but it really puts you there and makes you realize the closeness of the perp and girls

]

Snipped by me.
Crossing the creek is Mr. Hughes' opinion, perhaps because he is leaning towards the idea that the girls were accosted on the SE side of the bridge, and thinking that the shortest distance to the place where the girls were found is by crossing the creek.

It's his opinion. Some of us have the opinion nothing amiss happened until all parties were back on the NW end.

Until we hear more from LE, there is no way to know for sure.

I feel like this case is highly solvable, and justice for the girls will be forthcoming. People will just need to be patient. LE has an image of a suspect (BG), the voice of a suspect (likely BG), and potentially audio and/or video of the entire crime itself. DNA was collected. Cell phone records are being examined. The girls were reported missing within a few hours of the crime, and their bodies were found less than 24 hours after being reported missing. The speed at which they were recovered should increase the likelihood that evidence can be recovered.

LE may even know the name or location of the suspect, but not be revealing this information to the public. In the Sierra LaMar case in California, LE had the suspect, Antolin Garica Torres, under surveillance while still asking the public for tips.

Have faith people that good will prevail over evil.

I am not getting where this guy came from...it's like he appeared out of thin air or something. You can't see him in the snapchat pic, but then all of a sudden the girls progressed 500 feet and he is now all of a sudden there?

He had to have walked them down the road, told them to go down the hill after they crossed creek, yes?

I think Libby's pic is timed at 2:07? Suspect at 2:30 something. (Not exact I'm too lazy today). Plenty time to walk into and over bridge.

What if there was no sexual assault?
Why would he kill them?

A comment they made?

DNA will only be useful if they have his DNA on file somewhere.

[/B]Last line BBM -

Do you folks who believe that really think LE, FBI etc are that inept at blurring something or someone out of a photo as to leave a portion showing?

Nobody ever said anything in that discussion about the LE being inept at all. I don't appreciate the insinuation.

There were comments to the effect of it being done hurriedly to get that photo out asap.

And, it wasn't something I saw myself initially, but when others were posting about it I joined the conversation.

I stand by my original theory that Abby is cropped out of the picture.

Lets hope there's a match...I'm doubting it though.

http://atfiles.org/files/pdf/Using-Railroad-Property-Community-Trails.pdf

I realize this doc is from Kansas. It's a conservancy type document called "Rails to Trails." In it there is talk about rail right of way, some past cases where land owners had to fight to get land back once the railroad stopped using, etc. I wonder if motive here? Maybe the killer wasn't a perv and was so mad about trespassing he killed them? Like a trespassing rage type of crime vs. what we are all thinking.

My other thought would be it is what we are thinking and to brainstorm the document to see if IN or IA has similar programs and if someone worked both conservancy groups. Just a thought. maybe a lead.

The parking at the cemetery angle bothers me because LE put out requests for general public to remember if they saw anyone hitchhiking or walking the highway on the 13th. This makes me think 2 things: no car involved, and that they believe he was in and out of park on same day. It's just reading between the lines.

Just my opinion.

If the motive was drug related, there may not be evidence of sexual assault. This is even more interesting given the short timeline of the crime.

Would they have DNA on someone who has a prior arrest? Not sure how it works...

The motive could possibly be drug related, thus no sexual assault. This is even more interesting given the short timeline of the crime.

We have no idea if there was a sexual assault or not.

I know LE holds back cause of death often, to weed out false confessions, etc...but I wonder sometimes if in older cases especially (i.e the girls killed some years ago, Lyric and Elizabeth (?) if revealing cause of death could strike a chord in a memory or alert someone as to a person they know with a proclivity, for example, to "play" strangulation games, or wave a knife around. Perhaps it could be the final bit of info that makes someone more certain of a suspicion they already have? Anyway...jmo.

Should read "If the motive was drug related, there may not be sexual assault."

The bodies were found on the North side of the creek, approx 1/5th of a mile East of the bridge, approx 50 feet from the creek- Fact

They were taken 'Down the hill' from the North or South side of the bridge? - We do not know

Did they cross the creek - We do not know

Does that help? lol
It helps!!!![emoji4]
