So she crossed the bridge after 3:49PM. Sundown must be around 6PM? It would be closer to 5PM when she returned to her car? She did this by herself without any concern for the bridge condition?
Do people go there to cross the bridge, turn around and cross it again?

If Libby and Abigail arrived at 1PM and 1h7m later they had still not crossed the bridge, that suggests that crossing the bridge takes them from 1:20 to 2:07 to partially cross the bridge ... 47-53 minutes and they're not yet across once.

Let's assume a minimum of one hour each way on the bridge plus 15 minutes each way to the pick up spot. They were very tight on time. Why didn't someone who was at the park at 3:49, and who crossed the bridge one way at 5:05 not see the suspect either behind or in front of her?

I think we can assume that the suspect did not cross the bridge at dusk or in the dark, but he would have been with the girls, or walking to his vehicle, by 5 in order to have the light.

In one video, a lady crosses the bridge in 6 minutes. Actually she starts filming after they've crossed the water. So I'd estimate 15-20 minutes to fully cross. And, yes, I believe people go out there just to cross and come back.

I read that the bodies were found almost a mile from where the girls had been dropped off, which I presumed was close to the bridge, so I guesstimated at .8 of a mile. You mentioned that the length of the bridge is 800 feet. Are you confusing the two measurements? I was trying to establish the time, the earliest time, that the girls could have been murdered, in relation to sounds that were NOT heard by the woman who said she was at the bridge at 3pm and did not see (or hear) the girls.

There was an armed robbery at Harvard State Bank in Rockford, Illinois on February 10, 2017 (3 - 3.5 hours from Delphi). Some think the suspect looks similar to BG, still on the lose last news report. There is CCTV footage of the suspect.

I always thought that the perp had a ball cap on - the bill was casting a shadow on his forehead.

If this is the guy, he might not take kindly to having his picture taken by Liberty.

It will be 1am for me so 2am for you across the channel :)

Sorry - I forgot to say thanks for the info regarding the radio show. But, yikes, that is late for me!I might have to catch it on the replay. I am sure it will be riveting listening but I know me - I would fall asleep 5 minutes before it starts and miss the whole thing.

"It stands for "Bridge Guy"............"Bad Guy" ...................or "Bulky Ghost"

Did you just make up "Bulky Ghost"? I haven't seen that yet. Lol. "Bridge Garbage". Or we could just call him "🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Go" since so much conversation is wrapped around whether he said "Go" or not before "down the hill".

If everyone could please try to use the 'reply with quote' button that would help a lot. Many posts here seem to be in reply to someone, but it's hard to tell.

<modsnip>Reports not straight from the horses mouth should always be taken with a grain of salt, in regards to this particular case.

I don't think the pinging means much of anything. If a tower is at 'full usage' it will ping at the next closest location, which could be 5mi away etc.

his right arm and hand are definately not in his pocket. his hand is above his belt line and looks like it's behind his fanny-pack, like he's holding a knife or gun. does anyone else see this?

It looks as if he's reaching for something underneath his coat, perhaps in his the front pocket of his hoodie.

that's exactly what i'm thinking

JMO... Sadly this can happen when adults are reported missing, too. EVERY missing person report should be taken seriously. JMO.

Every family should. Or wait to report missing. Don't feel this is embarrassing. Don't feel this brings extra work to LE. The longer the waiting time to report, the worst the outcome would be. Don't wait until dark to call police!

I gasped a little, then calmed down and then gasped again lol. I can't tell... did y'all see the brown fanny pack/pouch on his right hip??? [emoji44]

I didn't see the fanny pack on the bank robber, but I noticed the blue hoodie and beige hat he was wearing. BG is wearing a blue jacket and possibly a beige-colored hat (note the possibly in that statement.)

The face, IMHO, looks similar to BG's face. Creepy.

Why don't they get NASA to enhance these images. It helped In the Brucia kidnapping.

I find this puzzling as well. One would think they would at least have an idea of his height and would release that to the public. It's hard to tell his weight because it looks like he might be wearing a hoodie under his jacket. I know I look a lot heavier than I actually am when I wear a hoodie underneath a windbreaker type jacket.

Sgt. Riley said that investigators had cleared a number of people who were in the Delphi Historic Trails area at the same time as the girls on Monday.

'At the moment we've talked to everybody that we feel that has been through there and none of them are coming up as suspect,' Riley said.
He added: 'Everybody is still a suspect but they went from high on the list to low on the list.'

Ive never heard of families choosing their own death date, but it could be as simple as, say, a aunt or uncle or grandfather or family friend was in charge of getting information from distraught and preoccupied parents/family to make arrangements. The date was given by mistake, or written down or heard wrong by the person collecting the info. Or the funeral home had a misprint.

Are the obits directly from legacy.com or from the actual Delphi funeral home? I mean, like I said I've never heard/seen a reason for a change in DOD if it was knowingly not accurate but people have their reasons.

Does the name JonBenet Ramsey ring a bell? Her parents ordered her granite grave marker with the DOD as 12/25/1996 because they wanted the world to know what happened to their daughter on Christmas night.

We don't know that he didn't take or destroy their phones. So he very well could be tech savy. What makes you think he's not educated?

Ted Bundy had a law degree....

I don't think I'll ever put too much stock in cell towers and pings and whatnot. And the reason for that is based on what happened to me several years ago. I'm not a big user of my cell phone. I can go weeks without ever using it to make a call. Probably even longer. I'm just not a big phone talker. I also don't text too much. But anyway, one day I went to use it to make a call and nothing was happening. Just dead. But everything else worked on it. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why this was happening. Restarts didn't solve the problem either. And yes, my bill was paid. LOL Anyway, I called AT&T and explained what was happening thinking I needed servicing or something and the CS Rep was like, are you in such-a-such town. I was like, uhhhh no. He asked if I had been close to that area. Took like a second to remember that yeah, we had driven through that town 3 days prior when going someplace else. It was also a location that was over an hour and a half away!!!

He then tells me that somehow my phone got "hung up" on a tower there. He had to do something that would allow it to release my phone. So he did and it worked fine after that. Now, your guess is as good as mine as to how the heck that can even happen. The way he put it was that it happens from time to time. Strange.
