What's odd about this tweet is that it was recorded the day BEFORE (March 8th) Mike Patty did his press conference (March 9th); but it wasn't posted until the 10th, I believe. In the video, she mentions the PC that the family was going to do the next day, and when I saw the tweet, I was, like, "Wait a second! If the LE had some kind of new evidence, then why didn't they mention it at the PC?" Or why hasn't any other MSM come out with the same report. Or why didn't she post it on the 8th???? Something's screwy.

She did tweet about it on the 8th

She was also at the press conference on the 9th, she asked questions and the officer addressed her by name. Why she uploaded the video on the 10th idk

I think that this happens because they want to collect much more evidence before the perpetrator can try to cover tracks or leave town later.

As long as they have 24 hours surveillance so that the person doesn;t leave, then they are good to go.

In this case, if they know who did it, they will have a GPS bug planted on his car and other surveillance.

My guess is if they do, they are waiting for DNA confirmation.

You are spot on. This theory is kind of the gist of the Angels & Demons article of the Rogers family triple homicide in Florida in 1989. LE had finally figured out who the perp was, put him under serveillance while the DA and LE continued gathering facts and info to build the case. There was no eye-witness to these murders, the entire case was built on heavily researched circumstantial evidence.

This is all MOO.

I wonder though - was our perp out that day specifically looking for young girls? It's possible he was out looking for any female he felt he could overpower. Serial killers tend to target people with similar demographics, but I'm not convinced this is the work of a serial killer. Some have speculated this is a well-organized killer, but I disagree. Nothing is well-organized about abducting two people in a highly-traveled area in broad daylight, close to residential properties and then leaving their bodies in that same area. It's very unusual. I keep coming back to it, because I believe it's the key to figuring out who this guy is.

Actually to pull off killing two teens during the day in a highly traveled area would definitely need to be well organized. Calling him a SK is a stretch right now, but I'm sure if he isn't caught he can most definitely go that route. IMO this is a guy that had a target and organized everything from when to approach to where to carry out the crime. This means he knew they would be there, he knew RL would not be home so he could go on private property with no worry of owner coming out or pedestrians coming on. My ears go up when I look at this puzzle and I notice Abby lived right down the street, so IMO he knows her and he knows RL. The connect the dots is where we all are at right now....this piece of S--t is living on borrowed time...that's it....the clock began ticking for that [link removed] once he put his hands on those innocent kids.

Well-deserved recognition.

Reporters sometimes get it wrong. The one TV news video I saw (Indianapolis maybe?) said the bodies were found downstream of the bridge (WRONG), that the time for Abby and Libby to get picked up was 5:30 pm (WRONG), that the bodies were found more or less under the bridge (WRONG) and that the girls died on different days.

Sometimes in the heat and rush of the moment, they don;t get all the facts right. But at least they are covering it so that if someone saw something suspicious, they might call in a tip. So, we still need them to keep doing it, even with it's flaws.

I am curious.

Does anyone here have any first hand experience how they handle and prioritize tips?

I'm sure it all goes into a database....maybe ranking them highest to lowest how close to the crime scene they saw something, if it is a fact versus a theory, how easy or hard it would be to check it out, etc.

I would think then that each day someone generates a list of what to work on (because you don't have enough resources to work on everything!)

So, anyone ever served on a tip line like this?

Hopefully the perp doesn't work voluntarily for the tip line? I've noticed that on Crime Stoppers there are possibly sometimes working SK's (Milat in Australia).

All MOO. And no one here is suspected as 🤬🤬🤬.

The image at this Delphi Times link March 2016 - http://www.delphitimes.net/images/708_MOMCC_tour_group_March_2016_4611686018428865578_.JPG shows the general attire of folks visiting the bridges one year prior. Note the jackets, hats and footwear. I see a snap nylon jacket and I even see a hoodie layered under a jacket. Plus a fanny pack.

Interesting to note the fella on the far right- his scarf is down below like a fanny pack. Similar to the brown we see on 🤬🤬🤬. Although I still think 🤬🤬🤬 has a fanny pack or some other brown tool or weapon carrying item. But certainly something to consider.

The full article to the pic can be found here http://www.delphitimes.net/news.html

I agree this is a nylon jacket and thought it was such the first time I laid eyes on it. I wear them all the time and visit sporting goods stores regularly "jacket hunting" because I live in Colorado. It also appears nylon to me because of how clearly the gun, yes gun in my opinion, not backing down on that, is outlined. If the coat was thick, or a different material, I don't think such a clear outline would be present. It has that nylon/polyestern type sheen to me as well, and it seems to lays wrinkle as such. Jmo, moo.

Mix of cotton with polyester I think. I see the vertical wrinkles on his right shoulder (looking at the pic= left side) which are formed by hiding heavy utensils in the bottom of his jacket. IMO of course

Hmmmm..... when I saw the tweet on the 10th, it was dated the 10th. Which confused me..........why wasn't it dated the 8th which was when it was recorded? I could be remembering wrong.

What still remains is that no where else on MSM have I seen the claim she makes. Have you found any other confirmation from other media about the important new evidence?

What they have is rare in a murder case a lead like that is a tremendous break...Liberty did something that I have never heard of a victim doing before...and still something is wrong here. This case has stalled. I think he might of cleaned up crime scene . The water was right there. He is very devious and cunning. They need to find him because he will strike again.

In the murder of Travis Alexander on June 4, 2008, they found a camera in the washer and were able to retrieve photos from the day of/ and inadvertently taken during the murder. They even had a suspect almost immediately (even questioned her on June 19) -- but Jodi Arias was not arrested immediately --- she was indicted on July 9, 2008. Just over a month, and they had clear evidence connecting her to the murder.

more info on this at http://www.cbsnews.com/news/jodi-arias-a-timeline-of-a-sensational-murder-case/

IMO, they are just getting into this ... no need to get discouraged yet.

I looked at every men's jacket at Cabela's online store. The only thing that comes close is a Dickie's nylon zip front jacket. Yes, I know it is not THE one, and not every men's jacket is depicted on this site but what I noticed is that most (as in vast majority) of these work/sport jackets have pockets on the chests, visible zippers and all of them have insignia/label somewhere on the front. BG's doesn't. So, it is not all that common of a jacket. Very few are shiny and they are usually quilted, thermal jackets (like for skiing) if they are. Just an observation.

I think, still, that he may be wearing this jacket inside out. We see no buttons, no zipper, no insignia, no top[ stitching. We may be seeing the lining of the jacket. Just saying.

I think there are press-studs which are closed and on the inside a zipper which perhaps isn't closed.

I have not no.

The video report that you saw WAS dated the 10th, that is when she uploading it to twitter, even though she tweeted the photo and statement about key evidence on the 8th. I think she just uploaded the video on the 10th which made it seem like something else new. Does that make sense?

I don't know if it means anything but it says on her profile she is an emmy award winning reporter. Other reporters are tweeting but she seems to be the one that is tweeting the most.

Imo, there is NO smoke. There are 2 frames we see. His body and footing are in 2 completely different positions in each frame and yet that exact same shape… The weird white, squiggly looped shape pokes out if his jacket. That right there discredits the smoke theory, to my mind. Smoke does not hold it's shape. Sorry, I just keep reading it and I think it is a waste of time. It is definitely something else, I think... rope? A bag loop? Something? But not smoke.

This may sound rather bizarre. Perhaps a professional photographer can answer this. I am curious if there was a life size cardboard cutout of the actual image from Libby's camera of BG [before LE zoomed in on it] placed in the exact location...then a person stood where Libby stood and used a telephoto lens to zoom in on the subject would it be any clearer?

This is my thought as well. I think he knows that land like the back of his hand. I'm not doubting he played with Mr. Logan's kids or worked on his property or had knowledge of that part of his land. Mr. Logan said it was rough terrain to get to where the girls were. I just can't see some willy nilly killer taking the time to get to that particular location unless he knew it or it meant something to him. All my own speculating.

All this, me too. I think he spent a lot of time in those woods and knows how to criss-cross the area, skirting public versus private land. He was likely the kid that no one wanted around because he was sneaky and devious, trespassing and stealing things from barns/sheds.
