Funny I said it was rope in the very beginning and that he had it tucked inside his coat. No one paid any attention to me.. My sister's murderer brought rope with him to tie her up with. It was not a big thick rope like what many of you are showing...That would not be needed to tie a person up securely... Ordinary rope... you can buy it anywhere...It is fairly new rope because it is still white...

I can go with rope or better yet Clothesline is what could be under his chin and sticking out.

When I bought white clothesline recently I bought it because it was the only rope I could find at the hardware store.

It comes coiled up and the coils do not straighten out which could explain the circled white loops we are seeing.

Yeah I can go with that for sure. Below is a link.

When you go to store to try to buy rope. Clothesline is the perfect inexpensive thing you find. It was all I found.

The point of my post is that it is highly likely that is not even hair. So don't ever let something like "the hairstyle is different" be the reason to not call in a tip, when all else matches. it is not to debate what is on his head. It makes no difference to me.

Well, I certainly agree with you about that, that no one should not call in a tip because of a difference in hairstyle when no one is sure we're even looking at hair. I just think his head looks covered by a hood in one photo and less covered in the other. It could be very well be an illusion. I see something different on his stupid head every time I look at it.

That seems low down on the possibilities list, to me. Just my opinion.

Perhaps BG, or BG and his minions, got lucky when the search was called off the first night.

I agree, if BG was the only person involved, how would he be able to physically carry two people from wherever his car was parked ALL the way to the place he decided to put them. I dont know if I read correctly, but wasnt the homeowner not there when this occurred? If this is fact, this guy KNEW that the house near the site he picked would be empty... Maybe he told someone in passing, perhaps at a store. I have caught myself telling cashiers some private info, like "oh yeah I needed new sandals, im going to the beach this weekend" etc... makes me think I should stop doing that from now on.

The property owner was not at home the day the girls went missing nor the next morning when they were discovered. Perhaps he has a job or business in town and was gone as a matter of regular habit during the day.

BG did not park at the cemetery. :moo: The private drive was used.

Maybe the killer of the girls is a registered sex offender from many years ago but his charge was pled down and no DNA was ever taken.

For what it's worth, it's not just your opinion; it's the opinion of quite a few of us.

I'm with y'all ...but that's just me ...

For anyone interested in reading about the trials and tribulations of LE while on the hunt for child murderer, this is a fascinating account of the heinous murders of the Rogers Family - a mother and her 2 teenage daughters.

It is well worth the read, for any Websleuther.

It gives the perspective from all angles - the family, and what LE had to go through with the mass amount of tips, and how LE used the media to further the case and the tips.

On June 4, 1989, the bodies of Jo, Michelle and Christe were found floating in Tampa Bay. This is the story of the murders, their aftermath, and the handful of people who kept faith amid the unthinkable.

Every time I see a picture of the suspect in this crime I think of Oba Chandler. He was the devil incarnate. Same goes with whoever did this to Libby and Abby.

Booooooyyy, haven't we seen that too many times? I am sure they have their hands full with known offenders and tips, but that is not a bad place to go next---- check into those who had original charges that were reduced to see if something was similar.

  • #749
Do we know, or do we not know, if Libby's cell phone was found? I am aware they said they extracted the "Down the hill" from a video on Libby's cell phone. But do they have the phone? I am somehow missing a clear statement about it. Why?

It would make more sense, if they did not have the phone, right?

No, they have not said.

I know we all have an common goal. We feel deeply for these kids, and what they went through, and we want this 🤬🤬🤬 brought in.

There's bound to be to be posts we don't agree with, positions we don't hold, mistakes that are made... I hope we can all have the same regard and respect for one another, that we have shown towards these girls and their families. If something is deeply offensive, against the TOS ect... Use the alert Triangle, don"t quote and instigate a dispute. We're all good people here. We are here because we have big hearts, an affinity for sleuthing, and we care. Let's show, as much care for each other in the same way we care for the victims and their families in the cases we follow. Before you hit "send" on a post, ask yourself two questions:

"Will it hurt or will it help...

I love what I have come to think of, as my "Webslueths family". We rock! United we are strong!

There was a lot to be learned from that one. Thanks for sharing. It also helped me to refocus.

When they finally get some results back lets assume they sent a good sample that gives back a good solid DNA profile report and lets assume it just does not match anybody they have in CODIS.

At that point though couldnt LE release much more of the footage and release much more information to the public because once they have a solid DNA profile then all they need is to get the BG behind bars and get a sample from him and it will match what they have. It WILL match so long as they identify the right perp.

So it can be no holds barred and give the public everything they got so that we can give this guy to them so they can match his DNA and prosecute him. There is no reason to hold any evidence back from the public IMO because they have a guaranteed prosecutable case once they have a solid DNA profile and since they already have his picture of him on the video.
To me... that is a brilliant observation!

Perhaps their unwillingness to release any information including COD indicates the DNA claims are specious.

Differing opinions to me are a good thing.I follow cases on here many times and change my mind on what I thought of something from listening to other people's point of view.
Not every detective investigator whatever are going to have the same opinion what's cool about here is we can all agree to disagree, and at the end of the day keep on working together.

I never said anything about a hat. I don't think it was a hat. I think it is a hoodie... just as you quoted. Like the hood--- of the hoodie--- on his head.

Here is a post from the media thread with the original photos:
http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...ia-maps-amp-timelines&p=13163598#post13163598

In the right foot down photo- over his right shoulder, it appears TO ME that you can see the hoodie go across his forehead and all the way down to his shoulder. The other one, the lighting is different, but....

In this gif that was recreated by our own members a few times (so nothing official, but you can go back and see where people have marked trees and spots in the wood and other identifying marks) you can see it appears that the 2 photos were nearly back to back in the frames of the video. There was no time for him to remove anything. His hands are similar, his clothing is in similar positions, the bridge is consistent with being a step ahead, but somehow the hoodie goes from up to down? Logically, that can't work. Which is why I say it didnt happen. All hair or all hoodie or all hat. Not 2 different things. In my opinion.

This was thread #4!!! That's how long this has been looked at.
http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...-Delphi-13-Feb-2017-4&p=13159484#post13159484

Now, if you can show me where law enforcement has said that in one picture it is down and one it was up, then I will be completely stunned. I have been following since literally when they went missing, as someone in my homeschool group knew the girls and posted. I thought I have read everything. But, please show me if they have stated that. I have been wrong before and will definitely be wrong again!

Also, just to add--- here is my post from Thread #3. It was quoting a guy on twitter who said that the hoodie was up in one and not in the other. Definitely now law enforcement, in case that is what you saw:

http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...-Delphi-13-Feb-2017-3&p=13154904#post13154904

Opinion! Mine!
No need to get upset, that was not my intention.

You said there is no hair showing in either picture and you typed it with authority (all caps). I was asking you for a source that's all.

I should have never mentioned the cap because it was not directed at you. I was saying it in general terms because "hat" has been brought up yet LEO has never (to my knowledge) said he was wearing a hat.

I have been following this case for weeks as well and there is one thing I can tell you .... None of us know very much because LEO is very tight lipped. All we have here is speculation and all FB (which I am not a member of) has is rumors. Until this case breaks wide open and/or goes to trial we will not learn much. I personally believe this is going to be a very horrific crime against two young girls. One we may never want to hear the details of.

Again, I did not mean to upset you in the event I did. I respect everyone here and their opinions but it doesn't mean I have to agree with every thing being said.

I think the killer may be off his mental health mess and could not control his rage. He needs to turn himself in asap or he will not be able to rest.
