Actually.. re reading the article this stood out

To me, this actually reads that they believe he is local . To me, this doesn't read like it could be just anyone


Or am I just hoping to much that they have a good idea who did this ?!

While watching the second video on this page, I noticed what might explain the white thing at the neck of the POI --- the inside of Mr. Logan's hooded sweatshirt has white lining around the edges.

And what is that green strap that crosses from his shoulder across his chest?

Also, gloves......for warmth, or.....?

I don't know what to tell you. I don't make the rules I just follow them. I guess you could ask a mod if you really take issue with those rules. JMO

I'm not a mod, I"m just answering hte question with the answer the mods gave in a previous thread. I suppose if you think it's not a good rule or explanation you can message a mod to let them know. I'm just being helpful by answering questions, nothing more.

The property owner did more than half a dozen separate TV interviews within the first two days of the bodies being discovered. None after the police revealed they had photo and audio.

Are you positive about that? I thought I recalled him mentioning the photographs in one of the interviews replayed today.

Property owner looks nothing like the BG guy. There is no mustache on the BG guys picture. Delphi PD is probably just running a tight ship right now because of all the LE and eyes on them right now. Probably just performing their due diligence when it comes to breaking the law in their town.

I've been thinking all along that BG does have a mustache. At least, it looks that way to me. I agree that he doesn't look like RL, though.

I know one image of the perpetrator that had been 'played 'around with really made it look like he has a horizontal strap going across his chest starting from his left shoulder. I am not sure how accurate it was.

I agree with you and while I want the person /persons caught I will go read another thread while this gets back under control. Can't help but walk away when seeing someone tossed under the bus without facts to back it up...Praying for results for the families...night !

Yes, LE was quick to tell us that the search warrants served in Delphi and Peru did not amount to anything. The DA even posted on FB that those people had nothing to do with the murders. He told people not to harass them.

For those who think it's essential to the case to sleuth RL, you're allowed to sleuth anyone you want to, but you just can't post about your findings here unless it's about an approved subject and/or someone named a POI or suspect by LE. If you really think it's important to the case to discuss something/someone else, you should ask a mod or administrator privately first. moo

In my opinion, that aspect is why the FBI profile is slow in forthcoming, that, and they hope an arrest is imminent.

Le asked anyone to report it if they saw a backpack or duffel bag being dumped or had been dumped. Could the girls have had a backpack with water for their hike and it is missing? Could BG have taken it as a trophy to keep to relive the murders?

His 2 year suspended sentence was to run consecutively with a 2008 case referenced. The 2 year license suspension isn't a sentence, it's just a condition of his sentence.

Perhaps RL has a nephew or someone staying with him or on his property. Maybe they found something in the silo. It's all up in the air, MOO.

I personally don't see RL as the POI. (I know others don't see BG as having facial hair, but I see it. Just do not see these two as the same person.)

I don't hear a marked difference. Would you mind elaborating on the "other things"?

First, I will say that the voice recording seems pretty poor quality to me and sort of "electronic" sounding. However, people on here have talked about "more southern" sounding voices from Indiana vs. the more urban sounding ones without the southern, or perhaps rural inflection. To my ears, PO has the southern/rural thing in his voice and BG does not. Also, a lot of older men- 70s and older mostly have a tone to their voice that I recognize in my own family members. I hear it in PO but not in the BG clip. My guess for BGs voice would be age range 38-58.

As for other things- I always thought that BG was a medium built person, not carrying a lot of excess weight, just layered clothes or other objects beneath his coat. His arms and legs and the sides of his coat just lead me to think that in the way that I am seeing it. To me it also looks like he has facial hair on his chin.

I know we are dealing with less than perfect images and audio. It's amazing how people are seeing things completely differently!

Also, though the mind is totally unpredictable, it's hard to fathom that someone can live in a small community for 50 plus years and this would be the first atrocity committed- or that other actions attributed to his past would not have sent up red flags right away- at least with people who know him. And why leave bodies on your property- out in the open like that? It's just not all adding up to me.

One awesome poster here showed Abby likely had a large purse hanging from her shoulder. Not sure if that could be it, but is was a great find just from looking at her picture Libby took on the bridge. Sweet girls.
