Marking my spot and inquiring if anyone ever stated who the "other guy" was in the news interview w RL? He said "you can't carry someone up and down these hills." HELLO..who said they were carried anywhere? Let alone UP and DOWN? From the bridge they would have traveled ACROSS the hills. The only up & down would be on to RLs property. And if they WERE carried it would explain why canines didn't pick up a scent trail. And maybe leaving the girls on the property was the only option since the place was crawling w people. JMO.

It's not showing RL as an inmate, but maybe they haven't updated their website yet. It might be something to watch in the future. I also checked and yes, Clinton County jail does have a maximum security section.

Does anyone have a link that says anything about the lady who said she was on the trails the day the girls went missing. I believe she said she saw a couple and another man, but noticed nothing out of the ordinary.

-I am wondring if she was alone.
-Any mention of a white vehicle (was it van or truck?)
-was her name Becky or Brenda or something similar?

Apologies if this has been discussed before.....so hard to keep up!!....but surely if it was RL, he wouldn't just leave the bodies out in the open on his own property? Would he not try to conceal them or take them far, far away?

Not if the searchers came more quickly than he imagined. IMO or perhaps he panicked for some reason or another. Another thought is that it wasn't him but perhaps someone else using his property and they did the deed and left. Why hide the bodies? No need! MOO

I have been extremely busy so if I'm updated properly because well I skipped 30 pages, LE issued a new search warrant on PO personal home? Was there any other big news?Thanks guys.

That pretty much covers it. They took a truck, have said they can look at whatever they want on his property, have K9 units, and might be there all night.

RL waived all 4th amendment search rights upon probation on his multiple DUI, Habitual Offender convictions. So this warrant is directed to the murders for probable cause and no doubt to keep in any evidence found used as evidence in court. The fact he is transferred to Clinton County to me shows either protection from other inmates that may be harm to him based on this investigation involving murders of the girls or that there was a probation/incident in Clinton County. I am in Indiana but not available to get a copy of RL amended probation violation petition filed yesterday in Carroll County. If someone is, that would be helpful. It's public record. JMO

I hear ya, RL has definitely been hauled over the coals here and on Facebook. He does not look like pic or sound like recording. LE needs to get through the 13,000 tips and find this guy. It's been over a month already.

The place I read her statement was on a FB post she made to a family member on the 13th before the search was called off for the night. I don't think I can post more than that.

Well I dont think they actually said he is NOT...just that the suspect is aged under 50 (forgot the age they stated)and RL has been charged on unrelated matters.
I do see how it makes sense however..he knows the area better than anyone. Could be tired of people on and near his property..break ins etc.
Perhaps could be one who's alibi was found to be less than truthful even.
I'm unconvinced either way.

Like I said earlier I find it hard to believe RL had anything to do with the murders. At the same time though I cannot find anything in msm saying LE has already cleared him. I can only conclude then that LE is considering RL to be a suspect until they can rule him out, regardless of what's been posted in msm.

I believe that was on Facebook, not on any MSM or LE.

I'm just not seeing that RL & BG look the same. I get height & clothing - but RL has some serious age lines that aren't visible on BG. I'm sure this has been brought up. I jumped from the end of last thread to here. I just want justice for the two little ladies. :/

I think the vast majority of people here think RL is not BG.

It's just that someone else around the property is the source of the LE warrant.

My thoughts about the voice is that it's not RL. LE has the full tape and I imagine there are voice recognition tools they can use as well.

I look at the timing of RL's arrest. If his probation ended months ago, I have to wonder how it was violated. Was there an outstanding warrant for him? If yes, why was that not checked sooner?

Again, I think he is in some sort of protective custody. Perhaps to free up his property or keep him quiet or isolated, or preserve evidence. I imagine it took time to get the search warrant.

The FBI is involved, right? Don't they get involved when crimes cross state lines? I could be wrong, just thinking.

Whether or not RL is BG he still could be involved directly or indirectly. Having them search his home does not mean he is but it does indicate that there is some basis for suspicion.
