Could be someone who helps on the farm. I saw a hay wagon, if he makes square bales he had to have help IMO. Does he have a farrier or does he trim himself?

i don't personally think they are connected but I believe both are fairly close to meat packing places.

With the Iowa case, everyone assumed that it was someone local, but the fact that their bodies were found 20 miles away at Seven Bridges Park suggests that someone knows the bigger geography.

Finally caught up. Hopefully tomorrow has some good news!

Maybe they took the truck from RL's property because there is the sound of a vehicle in Libby's recording?

Random thought, speculation, brainstorming, tossing ideas around.

Going back to basics, pretending there is no RL and no picture from the bridge. The girls were stalked, IMO. That is one belief I have on this case I can't shake.
Imho...possibly BG crossed their path once on the bridge or elsewhere and as they saw him approaching again...knew that there could be trouble. Possibly why he was photographed?
They have a photo and voice and I hope whoever/whomever killed these young ladies are caught.

From the BG photos was anyone able to see a logo on his left side of jacket. The side in the shadows???

Well I see we have a new thread and not anything new going on. It is so sad to me that we are still at the same point today as we were yesterday. I just wish so much that we had an arrest for these girls murder. They deserve justice!!!! So here's a to hoping we get that overnight somehow some way!!!! Until then may you awesome sleuthers keep up the hard work and may LE keep digging until they have the answers needed to get this murdering 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.

Not at all. The photo is far too pixelated, and taken from too far away, to give logo detail.

The property was searched and nothing appeared out of order. That much we know.
The individual buildings were not "searched", but I think we can be sure that investigators looked into the buildings.

JMO - The property was searched prior to searchers going down to the water where the bodies were discovered. This was just a normal search for two missing girls.

Once the bodies were found, LE also found the phone which had the recording showing a man. This man did not resemble RL, therefore, RL was not considered the person they were looking for.

I truly hope that in LE's inability to match the facts they currently have with a specific suspect, they are not using RL as a scapegoat! The girls parents would not approve of this even as badly as they want this monster caught.

I think LE came back to RL's to make certain they hadn't missed something. Finding the girls on his property, perhaps a lie about what he was doing in Lafayette gave them probable cause for a warrant.

The last thing a prosecutor wants is to not thoroughly vet this guy and his home, and have a defense attorney for someone actually charged offer up RL as an alternative killer.

I think that is all it is. He's not the guy on the bridge and I don't think there us any other connection. They will forensically examine the truck to make certain there is no DNA, fingerprints or fibers from the girls to try and rule out that they were in it.

if dead persons were found on my property I would not even think of proving my innocence. I would be bewildered, incredulous and cooperative with all

If that happened on my property, I would move out of my house, have nightmares for at least a month or two and crawl into a hole in a fetal position until the media went away and I felt safe again on my property..and from the media spotlight being associated with such.

This may not be actually what would happen but in my mind it is a nightmare... I cannot fathom this if on my property...it would indeed send me to the edge.

I wonder what was in the "arm load" of stuff they hauled out of his house yesterday?

Police have said as clearly as they can that the property owner is "not a suspect". Police seem to believe that the girls were on the property at some point in time, or that the suspect has some connection to the property. Either way, hopefully the search results in new information.

I'm wondering if police needed the phones to have the photos, or whether the family checked their daughter's cloud uploads when looking for her and notified police of the uploads.

Hopefully the property owner is okay.

I agree. I would do the same.

Would you also offer multiple interviews with media outlets, including Inside Edition? You know that interview the one where they asked RL to say "down the hill" went for a pretty penny!

I find that very interesting.

Thanks to each and every person who posted back to me.

Does anyone have the link to a screen capture, video or text that shows RL and neighbor(?)togeather and that gives his name?I even asked the reporter and he said many videos Including the one I requested are not available after a week. Hatfield saved the day with the link.:tyou:

I am posting from my iPhone for the second time and I think I have my thumbnail
attached.
I am not inferring anything I just don't like loose ends in my notes.:cow:

I find that very interesting.

7.13.12 and 2.13.17[

I had to look at it several times to get it. Regardless of whether it is coincidence, or correlation, it's very interesting.

Part of me agrees with this assessment, and I come back to it often. But part of me wonders why they made such a show of it when they served the warrants. I believe the press was tipped off, and Sgts. Riley and Slocum said more (and did more interviews) about this search than any other one they've done. And they even went so far as to say that RL may get moved to suspect category after all (or maybe they'll clear him, which is an odd CYA sort of statement).

If this was about checking boxes, they would've stayed more tight-lipped IMO. But they had some swagger about this search, and I think they were/are expecting to find something significant that they learned about from RL, from a tip, or from fast tracked evidence that's back. They way they handled it with the press makes me think this isn't mere box-checking.
