RL acted very odd and spoke with certainty over what happened.

I think it's possible one of his friends was concerned with RL's enthusiasm to give a certain story to the Media.

RL brought this on himself.

BG is not RL

Nope, you didn't miss it because it never happened.
Oh ok. I was wondering how that was a possibility here. 2 girls murdered. One bridge guy named as prime suspect. He's no murder victim. He's a murderER.

As far as him being caught drinking the beer at the pizza place, IMO LE was following his every move at that time.

I'm afraid they are floundering and are grasping at straws. MOO

I think they have a suspect in their sights, and it's just a matter of time until there is irrefutable proof.

FWIW, with regards to open burning & dumping in Carroll County, I found an article, dated 4/1/2015, which contains the following:

" County Health Department Environmental Health Specialist Megan Tuttle, it is illegal to open dump and burn in Carroll County. Tuttle said Indiana Administrative Code 326 IAC 4-1-3 states, “only clean wood products, paper, charcoal, and clean petroleum products are allowed to be burned.” "

This may be true (and in fact we don't ever burn our trash now that we live in town, the county picks up all trash and recycling) but when you live a lot of land you burn lots of stuff, and lets face it, RL might not be a murderer but he's known to happily break the law.

Is DNA taken when someone has a DUI?
That seems unusual.

I looked this up and posted it on 3.30. Copy/pasting here. In Indiana a felony conviction requires a DNA submission.

A third DUI conviction in Indiana within ten years is a felony. In the Indiana Code, the phrase "Operating While Intoxicated" (OWI) is used to describe driving under the influence (DUI). People charged with a DUI/OWI face administrative penalties and criminal penalties.

So it's possible the date of death was the same for both of them (13th). Okay. Thanks so much for shedding light on the topic! I wasn't sure if there was a standard or how newspapers handled these things.

No one has talked much about what the coroners report might have said. They can determine almost to the minute/hour when a person has died. Maybe Liberty did die before Abby(the 13th) and then Abby actually died after 12 midnight which would have been the next day(the 14th).

This is the first time I've been suspicious of him - especially because there are starting to be too many coincidences.
Two girls were murdered on his property when he was parked at a location to easily abduct the girls, and easily leave the scene after the murders. His timeline of returning home at 6:30 corresponds with the timeline of a suspect who abducted two girls at 2:20-ish and murdered them within two hours.

He probably lied to police about his activities that day, knowing that two girls were missing. I would rather tell the truth about driving without permission than put myself on the radar for two murders. His truck was taken for examination because he is a suspect in the abduction and murder of the girls. Investigators are probably very suspicious of the time when he was at the transfer station, he probably fits the timeline for the murders, and he is not cooperating anymore.
Ohhhh Otto...I could HUG you!!! Yes, yes, and yes!!! [emoji12] I absolutely despise the thought of a "Small town Grandpa" doing this, but I believe facts are unravelling out of the coincidences!

Thank you for your awesome post![emoji307]

Better type fast before it gets closed on me! the truck was listed as across the street. I s that the same across the street as the grain bin? The one that people were bent about since it's "not on rons proprty"? But his truck was parked there? Hm.

Has this been posted yet here? I tried scanning back a few pages and have been following closely since thread 1 but I missed the last few days.

However, I do not have a link to the source. Will look it up and edit post or remove if duplicate post or I can't find official source.

My phone died just as I was saving it and lost my history because of that.

For those asking what the transfer station is, it is a place where you take recyclables and some household trash(last part of sentence MOO). See link:

I agree. Also I wonder if they searched the dump. Maybe RL caught the BG assaulting the girls and shot him and took him to the dump with other evidence. What if BG saw girls being taken off trail by RL and tried to help them and was shot by RL and disposed of at the dump.

But what did he do with the puppy under the killer's coat?!

Just kidding...couldn't resist.

Was it parked there on February 13 because he returned home at 6:30PM and a search was on for missing children on his property ... combined with the fact that he was not allowed to drive (due to parole conditions for a DUI)?

Americus is about 9 miles from his house. Were people following the guy around? Was LE pulling his credit card transactions and then collecting receipts at the Pizza Place?
I would be interested to know if this is the SAME Pizza Place that was hosting the fundraiser in honor of Libby and Abby?? There was a news segment (sorry no link) that showed the business hosting a benefit dor the families.

Many perps have been known to insert themselves into the investigations, memorials, celebrations of life, etc. of their victims...

I also find it strange RL was openly drinking in public when I assume he knew that was a definite PV...

Something just clicked with me when I read on the PV Document that RL had been confirmed drinking at a pizza place...

As always, JMOO [emoji307]

That's not entirely true. Stomach contents give one set of information, outside temperature gives additional temperature, and two bodies left overnight might result in a time of death anywhere between 5PM and 1AM. Stomach contents are not an accurate measure for time of death, and neither is ambient temperature.

I'm thinking that he did not know that he was a person of interest because he continued to violate probation after the murders and the spotlight on his property.

Is he an arrogant man?
