No, I don't think it is right. The bodies were almost due south of the cemetery, if I'm reading Nin's maps correctly.

ETA: Does someone have a link to Nin's North/South oriented map from yesterday? I have it saved on my PC but don't know how to post it here.

Hmm, I still don't get what you mean. But, I did enlarge and crop the sections of the picture to help answer a question about whether I thought a portion of the jeans had been blurred out. I was just showing that there was a straight line that followed up to the arm which said to me that it was just an unfortunate artifact. Hope I answered your question.

Those are very early maps and have basically been disproved by our great sleuths. MOO

Agreed. The bodies were south and west of your red dot.

If you mean a split view of the similarities/differences between RL and BG, it was several threads back and I believe it was either Nin or Ninij9 who created those. HTH. And they were allowed at the time so unless something has changed?

This case is terrifying and exhausting to follow. My own opinion is....they never left the property after what happened....happened. Recent events are telling me that LE are waiting for a boot to drop. I think you can guess where my suspicions are focused.

Not at all. I'm just trying to map the locations so I can better visualize what happened. If they took the photo of him on the SE end of the bridge, then they were facing North when they took the picture. Given that they were dropped off at 1PM and the photo was taken at 2:07PM, I think they were crossing the bridge for the first time, and were not on a "return trip" to where they were dropped off.

They crossed the bridge, photographed him, and were abducted. If they were abducted on the SE end of the bridge, they were walking from the North, and they were dropped off on the North side of the bridge.

You are right and I concur. All MSM reported that they were dropped off at the north end. It is quite a ways down the path before you even get to the bridge, so factor in time to dilly-dally, takes photos, etc. So that was probably their first crossing of the bridge.imo

Your map does have the CS in the wrong place that was shown in error by the MSM. Skib's second case map shows precisely where they were found as does Nin's maps shown earlier on this very thread.

Or ... is there a report that they were 500 feet from the cemetery, something like that? 500 feet could be South, or it could be East.

I'm guessing the green patch is the cemetery?

Does anyone remember that when LE found the bodies of the girls, they said that initially they didn't know if they were looking at a crime scene?

they initially said they "suspected foul play", which is pretty standard language for a homicide.
