It may just be me, but has anyone else wondered if possibly the still pic taken from the video of BG is less about the facial features and more about the articles of clothing worn? I've seen several posters question why the pic couldn't be cleaned up a bit more to offer a better chance at identification from the public. I wonder if the opposite may be true? Was the pic purposely "blurred" leaving more emphasis just on the clothing?

I think both or either, because if that was my husband on the bridge I feel like I would know regardless. After a lifetime of personal grainy photos and clothing knowledge, that goes for my bro and sis as well. I also wondered earlier if BG knee what he was going to do would he even wear his regular style of clothing. I find it all confusing anyway I look at it. But I do think someone out there knows, or would know
Speaking with my in-laws this passed weekend helped me realize how many people don't know about this, or other cases input Own state, I quickly brought to their attention, and felt frustrated about it. All imo always. I guess it could be either.

I've been a lurker for a while and here is my second try at first post. I've read many bits and pieces that make sense, my main issue is with the photo.

- The girls were having a great time and taking their time as they walked the trail. They are taking videos and pictures.

- BG had been scouting this are with the intent to kill. He is a predator.

- The girls notice him from a afar, but dont feel any need to be afraid. Unless i'm mistaken, most people in the area are friendly.

- The girls were taking a video as he approached. I believe that the Libby was video taping Abby and BG came out in the background. I bet the original video has Abby in front - that's the reason the image is very fuzzy and poor quality. The camera was focused in on Abby. I believe there was no intention to tape him at this stage.

- As BG approached, Libby had put her cell on her pocket. He approached, taking out a large gun or knife and ordered them down the hill.

- As anyone in this situation, they quietly comply.

- BG takes them to his dark colored suv or minivan and drives off with them. The vehicle is likely prep'ed to keep the girls locked and not seen from the outside.

- He likely asked the girls to hand over their phones, which he probably placed on another truck/trailer - he likely did this at a gas station or truck stop. This is probably the reason the phone was pinging everywhere. Although this shows he was ready to deal with the phone, he missed the cloud part. To his luck, the only photo of him is very poor quality.

- BG drives them to a structure nearby. Likely a shed or mobile structure within a close range (30 mins to 1 hour) of the abduction site.

- BG likely sexually assaults and murdered them there.

- He either lives very close or knows someone who does since he was aware of the situation. The person who gave him the inside scoop may not even know he is the killer - but he probably called a few times to check up on things and see how the search was going with the intent to go back and drop the bodies.

- He drove back in the wee hours of the morning and dropped the bodies.

It may not seem like it, but this monster is very meticulous. This person is likely highly educated and has a higher than average iq. Although i can see some semblance in RL, he is not the killer. I think RL is too sloppy.

I think LE knows full well who it is and is monitoring his steps. I think its a matter of time before they catch him.

I assume the additional theories and discussion is related to the IP addresses? I'm assuming that the theories are relating back to the girls use of social media?

I've been of the opinion~~the BG has worked in the area, but no longer works there.

We have a cabin north of us and in one of the towns, there were road construction. The crews were staying at the local hotel. I know it has been mentioned that I-25 was newly constructed. Could it be possible BG was part of that construction??

Interesting that the rail bed leads to Indianapolis. This homeless camp along the railway there was relocating in early February.

Thanks Steeltowngirl! I find that coincidental as well. Wonder what day they found out about the impending move? This article is dated 2/13 but they may have known the previous week. Maybe BG took off and followed the rails looking for a new place to live. Wonder how long the journey is from Indianapolis (the homeless camp was right next to CSX rails) to Delphi? Maybe that is why he seemed to be wearing everything he owned and his windbreaker was full of "stuff". Hoping they circulated his picture up there around Indianapolis.

The IP isn't really important just going on about how possible it is to find someone via kik. An app I believe of which I have little knowledge about. And otherwise locating people on the internet in general. I do not believe there is new news. Unless I missed it. Thought on cellphone activity/ location, whole speculations on what happened to the girls, WebSite is doing a great experiment with photos and distance enjoyable to compare, BGs clothing, face etc were talked about while I was here.. and I probably left out a ton of other post topics but most are usual to what I've become used to. That's all I got, hope it helps. All IMO and feel free to fill in the blanks for bigcityaccountant.

Just saw a post about Indianapolis Homeless Jungle relocation. That was my first thought that BG was a drifter, but I'm not so sure anymore. I'm thinking the guy is not local, otherwise LE would have arrested him by now. (GO LE!!!) I can't wait to hear they have arrested this and he gets the death penalty.

Believe this was discussed much earlier in the threads and there was no indication from anyone (LE, etc) that it had been used by the girls.

If you Google "Liberty German Twitter" you can find her old Twitter from a few years ago. On there, she lists all her social media, including KIK. That doesn't necessarily mean she still had it recently, but she apparently did at one time.

Even if the IP address you see only identifies the region, LE can subpoena internet providers in the case of crimes to get more specific location info.

Names and addresses of whose account was assigned that IP on that date and at that time. This is how the more tech-challenged CP perverts get caught, but it's also used for a lot of criminal activity like students making threats on Facebook to cyberstalking to selling any number of illegal services or goods.

My former colleague was a network engineer and a smart one. He got a visit from the Feds for having massive amounts, as in terabytes, of CP on multiple servers. He even engaged in some of the illegal activity using a free email provider like Gmail. They will catch you and there are always criminals wanting to exploit what they can via the internet. Be and stay safe.

Members have brought up the perp's background, people in his life who may have identified him already, etc.

Within the last 24 hours I read about a guy who is a POI in an abduction case in central NY which has gone unsolved for decades. He was convicted in an attempted abduction case mamy years ago, in a different state, and had been through a divorce where it was alleged he not only put his wife and daughter through hell, but he sexually assaulted both of them. Never convicted on the latter.

I think this perp is not local to Indiana, at least not crime-wise. He's struck before, but there may be a chance it wasn't in Indiana. JMO obviously, but something tells me the fact that there hasn't been a PC in weeks, plus the huge number of billboards involved, tells me the FBI figured early on this wasn't a local, and they were already leaning towards a SK.

Maybe so ! I am starting to think this guy is a multi-address guy like, he lived there once, moved came back so on and so forth. Knows someone in Indiana IMO. But who knows. And I can't wait either

Yes and no......have you ever seen a news report/news story where their asking if anyone can identify a robbery suspect from video footage or a pic? Often times these videos are from night footage or are even in black &white. More times than not the suspect is wearing a hoodie and you're unable to make out the facial features let alone skin tone of the suspect. The only identifying factors would be clothing or body type. Yet LE puts out the footage looking for a possible lead. Heck, I bet 90% of us here on WS own a hoodie!

Thing is, there are perps who have used Skype, VPN's, and other means of evading a trail online. Good luck trying to track them. Any number of cases here in the States have gone unsolved, and it's obvious the perps were able to evade being tracked.
