Here's the thing, though, if the murders are linked to Iowa murders. Whoever killed the Iowa girls has not been caught in five years. No real reason to think IN will identify him, if the fact that they have audio and video hasn't even helped, apparently. Jmo

I'm fully expecting this case to go unsolved for at least another month.

Also whoever made the gif of BG from the two pics, can you show what it looks like if you reverse the pics? Like the second pic shown first?
He'd then be walking backwards wouldn't he? Is that what you meant?

Read with caution.

I've wondered if it is for drowning, but each time the children's remains are found a short distance(40-50 feet) from the river ... why drag a body if you don't have to. It's possible that proximity to water is to clean up - like a knife. A butcher would be comfortable turning someone on their stomach and slitting a throat like with animals ... less blood, just wash the knife and hands. Throw the coat away.

There must be something amiss that this man is murdering young girls, very likely because he is sexually attracted to them. What went haywire in his childhood that he is this man today? Does he like to murder near water because running water / creek has some significance (like a childhood memory)?

Is he attracted to young girls because he is inept in relationships with women his own age? If caught will he likely live with a parent or sibling but not with a spouse?

Thanks ... this quote is also significant as it is clear that they are including the possibility that this person was driving through, saw an opportunity, and acted on it. I think that means he saw a victim, potentially the girls, at the drop-off location on the North end of the park ... a short drive from the cemetery. People who were parking or dropping someone off at the North end of the park between 11 and 2 should think harder to remember what they saw.

"Police have not released further information about the suspect, but Riley made clear the investigation has expanded past the city of Delphi."

From the above link:

“She and her good friend Libby (German) were excited and looking forward to planning their next 4 years of school together,” Williams’ obituary states.

But wasn't the grandad of Libby quoted in MSM he had never met Abby? Not that takes away from the girls friendship. I'll look for the quote, but that did stand out to me.

WADR, how does anyone know about the killer's ability to breathe with or without difficulty no matter who the killer turns out to be?

Thoughts and opinions on the internet don't arrest, try or incarcerate anyone. IMO

Then why are we all here? Seems to me we should all pack it up and leave.

After all, this community is basically built on opinions and even more opinions.

The windbreaker over hoodie with(per an early MSM description)scarf that BG appears to be wearing has had me thinking motorcycle since fairly early into the case.
It's looks fairly easy to obscure a dark vehicle at the South end the cemetery.

I don't think so. If a murderer has isolated two children in a secluded area of a remote park, why would he take them somewhere else?
To bury or hide them?

I do, I think they were moved off the abduction site, as imo this was a depraved hebephile sexually motivated killing. What i'm stuck on and I think a large hole in my theory of events, is why they were returned. LE is so tight lipped who knows.

I have felt the same exact way from the very start!

To bury or hide them?

How could he have taken them and why would he bring them back to the general area where he found them? Not saying that didn't happen, but wonder why he would take the risk?

:moo:

I am exploring potential links of someone who WAS a local near Evansdale/Bremer County Iowa and IS NOW a local near Delphi, IN - or someone who travels between the Iowa and Indiana Hog Plants:

There is a business that raises hogs to sell to the Indian Packers Corp. in Delphi. It is located 4 miles from the Crime Scene. It opened in 2015 and their home base is in Laporte, Iowa. Laporte, Iowa is only 20 minutes away from where the Evansdale Murders of Lyric and Lizzie happened.

Could there be someone that is connected to this plant in some way - who would have cause to be in both the Evansdale, Iowa area and the Delphi, Indiana area in relation to their work? Could be anyone from a salesman, driver, manager, livestock caretakers, administrative, owner.

Here is a link to the company that has a location near Evansdale, IA and is now located in Delphi, IN.

Maybe inept with women his own age, maybe not.

There was a well known photographer who whent to ... was it Colorado or Montana ... abducted an 11 year old girl, drove her to a place where she would surely die overnight, assaulted her in his vehicle, and then left her on a mountain after dark ... bear country. She was lucky. The photographer had a wife and two young daughters.

Totally agree. Reporters like to use the word "cleared" a lot too. Much of it is clickbait, IMO.

This is an example -- in Ohio "cleared" appears to refer to someone who isn't a suspect.

Man ID'd as Suspect in Ohio Police Officer Shooting Cleared
"Newcomerstown police say the man is no longer a suspect."
https://www.usnews.com/news/best-st...ek-2-suspects-in-ohio-police-officer-shooting

However in Indiana I guess the same words mean different things. Some do not believe RL has been "cleared" even though LE has repeatedly stated that he's not a suspect.

I guess I'm not really concerned about other cases--RL seems awfully concerned about himself in the face of an unspeakable tragedy that has befallen others who he personally knows. If he felt truly threatened by the girls exposing whatever he was up to--given his sociopathic statements and apparent lack of empathy towards Libby and Abby's horrific murder--I think he would have been capable of killing them, or recruiting someone to do so.

Links? Proof?

That was not the grandad she lived with, from what I understand. The way I understand it, she lived with her paternal grandparents, and MP is her father's stepdad. The grandparents in Flora are the maternal grandparents, and likely don't see her as often, as it was stated that the last time they'd seen her was near Christmas, IIRC.

.
I don't want to rule it out, but BG doesn't look to me to be someone who'd be in a gang, esp MS-13. I've seen a number of pics and footage of that gang, we've even had some of them in a few towns here who've been arrested and he just doesn't look like he'd be in with them. Of course, I could be wrong.

jmo

No way this is gang related, unless there is a gang in Indiana of awkward guys who hang out alone on bridges wearing blue rain jackets and ill fitting jeans.
